Hi Imogenr1, I think Dec is a safe enough bet. Total pain waiting for the call though lol! Do you know if recruitment make phone calls at a particular time in the month - say when they update their appointable candidates list or do they make the calls on a rolling / daily basis?

Would be nice to know maybe what time of month to expect a call

Hi there, it was ok, you just need to put the head down and keep going! I think 99% of people who have been doing cardio training would pass it ok.

I found it easy enough to navigate the obstacles at speed without knocking anything down etc and i’m defo not the most flexible or the slightest build in the world.

No idea on the above sorry cml29. I got a call the other day and got my hopes up but they were just checking I got the online learning.

As far as I’m aware greys are new in GV which means they can take up to 40/50 extra students whereas previous years didn’t have this extra colour.

Are you waiting on SMT results?

Passed SMT, only thing i’m waiting on is the call! Not long now i’m sure imogenr1

Does anyone know if the NI transitional allowance is paid to student officers? Or only when appointed as constables?

I'm 180-200 but my vetting still hasn't come through. Would that be a reason why I havent had a call yet?

Yes everything needs passed before you're appointable

I am in the November intake.

I had to contact recruitment 2 weeks after I had my medical as I didn’t hear anything.

GRJ27 your vetting will have to clear before you are offered a place.

I have contacted them and my vetting is still pending. Passed everything else so I hope it doesn't take too long! Do they email you to say its passed?

Did you send vetting a credit report along with your documents?

Ps the credit reportnto vetting is only for ROI candidates, NI/GB candidates don't panic.

They can't check RoI credit reference agencies so unless you sent one they cannot do a credit check. Did you send one?

They have only sent progression emails to those around 700ML currently.
