A log with cards in it

The only success I had in general last season was on cards, everything else was a disaster so I'm gonna do cards and nothing else mainly prem league.

Picks will be chosen based on value, h2h or just streaks.

    Man U Chelsea

Luke Shaw to be carded 3/1
    10

Shaw to be carded first 12/1
    2

Matic was my main pick for this at 5/2 given he nearly always gets a yellow
for this fixture but he's on the bench, may have a few quid on him if he comes on with 20/30 left if over 6s depending on how the game is going.

Pretty sure luke shaw's 11 cards in 29 starts was as much as any utd player last season and he's never been one to shy away from a tackle.
He's as short as 6/4 with another bookie so taking this one for value alone.

This is a log im looking forward to seeing. 80%+ of my bets are on premier league cards.

I use soccerbase.com for the referee stats for games but predominantly bet on premier league still.

I will indeed. I got off to a good start with over 40 booking points in the Utd Chelsea game albeit it was only 5/6.

Interesting match tonight - the uefa super cup between Liverpool and Chelsea. The referee is called Stephanie Frappart from France. I really don’t know how it’s going to go but I’m going to take the over 40 points with paddy power at 7/5.

    Referee stats
    Fri 09/08/19 LI2 Guingamp 1 - 0 Orléans x4
    Sun 07/07/19 WWC United States 2 – 0 Netherlands x3
    Sat 29/06/19 WWC Germany 1 – 2 Sweden
    Thu 20/06/19 WWC Netherlands 2 – 1 Canada x4

Can't take anything out of that lot really.

bit of a nothing match if you ask me and hard to be confident of either tbh

Turned out I was wrong (again). I honestly thought it would have swaying the other way but apparently not. Ah well on to the next one!

    Bayern v herth

kimmich to be shown a card 5/1 betway
    5

price a tad too big possibly
only 3 mins away, bit of an afterthought

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Cork to be shown a card 4.75
    5

    Millivojevic 11/4
    5.50
    888

    Romeu 11/5
    5

    Holebas 12/5
    Skybet

    3x50c trebles 50acca

Cork gets booked in this fixture quite a bit and as long as Burnley can hold arsenal the more chance of cards.
I'm banking on burnleys promising start hoping they'll be still in this with an hour gone or so

Romeu usually gets booked in this fixture yet (3 in last 4) with some of the pool lads having played 2hours midweek there might be one or two from the squad worth backing like Henderson

Millivojevic looks Value at those odds, loves cards and sheff utd will also be up for their first home game here in a long time

Holebas booked in 3 of last 5 in this fixture

There seems to be good value in the championship if you know teams/players
Only 888 betting on these going by oddschecker

Jake Cooper Derick Williams Nathan Byrne caught my eye at 3s 7/2 4/1
I'll watch and see how they get on before going there apart from a small trixie

Would normally wait for teams but can't today

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

So far (holebas stake was 5) holebas romeu the only two winners

    Staked 39/ret 33/-6

Williams did get booked for Blackburn at 4s

Nathan Byrne got booked minutes ago for Wigan so will keep these two in mind for again

Sterling another lad likely to pick up a card regardless if city are home and dry being a bit of a brat
Wondering what his odds were, decent I'd imagine

Edit jake Cooper booked for millwall Earlier also

    Cheers infor
It'll be interesting to see how he's priced up

Wouldnt surprise me if not at all.
888 always has a select few, not the full team available.
But then there is always match and\or team cards available.

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

A few early ones with prices I'm taking now for value

Sterling to be carded 11/1 bet365
    5
4pts bigger than the next and some going 11/2
Booked in both games so far

    Kane 6/1
    Lamela 6/1
    3 on each
    2x1euro doubles
a couple of bookies under 3/1 on Lamela always a great shout for a card should he start
if Newcastle don't put up a fight it could be over by half time however

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Not seeing a whole lot in the premiership today apart from holebas who's been booked in 3 of his last 4 starts v wham and sent off in this last season
Price is decent and higher than last week

    Holebas card 11/4
    6
    Antonio card 13/2
    2
    Holebas 1st card 10/1
    1
    Holebas red 33/1
    1

    Bet 365

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

Better prices with pp on most of these and most of the team priced up (forshaw not priced on 888)

    Boro millwall
    Ayala 3/1
    3
    Jake Cooper 16/5
    3
    1.50 double at 20.92/1
    Leeds
    Forshaw 4/1
    2.50
    Wigan
    Nathan Byrne 5/2
    3

Same 4 with Derick Williams 4/1

    7x20c trebles
    2x25c fourfolds
    Paddy

    (14.90 staked)

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    David Luiz card 3/1
    5
    888

Like xhaka also but only 9/5 at best, regularly booked in this.
Fabinho another value one at 7/2

  • Registered Users Posts: 23,797 ✭✭✭✭mailburner

    Neves card 10/3
    5
    1st card 12/1
    1
    Bet365

There's 8/9 players shorter in the cards market, makes no sense.
Booked in last 2 of this fixture also

Tempted by Bennett at 7/2 also

always a good fixture for cards and some scandalous pricing on these by the likes of paddy
who go 8/11 brown and went 8/13 lerma yesterday when the general price was around 6/4

I'm taking arfield for value alone

If anybody here is on a Twitter, a guy I like following for his card bets handle is @MyBets
Worth a follow if you like the card markets.

I’ve been too busy with work to be betting but I hope it’s going well for you!

Cheers, will keep an eye on him. https://twitter.com/MyBets

See nothing in the ireland game regarding cards at all.
We're only averaging one card in our last 5 games, swiss have players
who get booked regularly especially xhaka and schar though
