At least Austin is back next week to provide some entertainment

Edit: and a bump to the ratings

Hes there to enforce the contract signing which I think will end with Braun losing his mind and ends up hitting Austin or something

Rumours were suggesting Austin would be the next victim of the fiend

That would be f*cking huge! beating up foley, angle and King doesn't really make much of a mark - taking down the most over wrestler in (potentially) the history of the business* would make a very loud statement!

    Can't see it happening though!

*that's right, I said it, Brother

Well' he's just let Becky give him a Stunner on his own show, so wonders never cease to exist. (damn fine stunner it was too)

if you have him stunner the OC, roode and doph than the regular beer bash interrupted by the fiend especially in MSG could be amazing

Then they ruin it all by him not winning the title next month

Even if he won the title next month that's probably him ruined. They won't give him the Brock treatment of being off TV for long while not defending his title.

They could just carry on with what he's doing now, he still appears every week either through the funhouse segments or in ring surprise attacks

The main thing I think is that they keep the split personality, have Funhouse Bray appear on tv acting unaware he and The Fiend are the same person, no belt, acting like a goofy face being nice to everyone, then have The Fiend showing up at PPVs destroying people.

It would be something new at least.

When's the last time someone laid out Austin? It must be well over a decade ago.

Heel turns feel hard to do these days. Becky was being cheered but Bayley still got "Yes!" chants and will probably be the cool heel going forward.

Think that was a positive reaction to the surprise than anything. Same way people on Raw or Smackdown might cheer a heel winning a major title because a big title change isn't something you expect at the weekly shows and they got to be there for it.
But we'll see going forward what the reaction will be.
As for Bayley fighting Charlotte, I don't like face Charlotte so hope they keep her heel.

Rey Mysterio vs Gran Metalik announced for Raw.

No build up? I thought we'd at least get a week or two of Becky/Charlotte being reluctant about teaming up or an angle at Clash of Champions that leads to it..

Bloody hell, that should have been a match build up to over weeks....

Interference from Ronda and her gang maybe and then that 4 horsewomen vs 4 horsewomen feud will be blown off at Survivor Series.

That is long term booking WWE style.

That’s giving WWE wayyyyy too much Credit.

Just the usual tag match to keep two feuds going before the next PPV.

It's WWE so as long as Sasha and Bayley are champs by the end of CoC I'll take that as a victory.

It's pretty standard really. A 4 person match before the PPV involving both champs and both challengers. Although other times it's the champ and their challenger teaming together.

    How will they co-exist?

If there was some sort of punishment for getting dq'd. attacking your team mate, just giving up etc etc then the "how will they co-exist" might make some sense, but sweet jesus is it the most pointless thing ever the way it is

So the MSG Raw tonight with Austin shilling his beer to try and get a bump in the ratings and Vince trying to show MSG he should be the only wrestling company allowed to use it.

Just looked on Ticketmaster and there is still about a 3rd of tickets left on sale.

So it sold out in the end ?

On 28 May 2001, Brian Ong died after receiving a flapjack from Singh. Ong had suffered a previous concussion during the session, but the trainers gave him a lower evaluation for not avoiding injuries and told him to continue training.

Not averse to skinny jeans but there is something....odd about a world champion in wrestling wearing them.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,733 ✭✭✭✭PTH2009

The four horse women tag match is the Main event then with Stone Cold appearing already

4HW tag was quite good. I was expecting a cheap finish after 2-3 minutes but they went 20+.
