I never really understood the biological theory behind why women don't "need" orgasms. Ok, so obviously the man needs a reason to impregnate her and it just so happens that this reason, a spike in pleasure around the genitals, anus and prostate that's akin to nirvana, is an extremely high motivating factor.

But why shouldn't women get that pleasure as well? They know that they are in for 9 months of kicking, cramps, misery and being generally uncomfortable, why would biology evolve to only allow the male feel the pleasure and not the female? I think that belief is rooted in the treating of women as secondary citizens and oppressing them by reducing them to just a vessel for a baby. Of course women can have orgasms and enjoy them but its really only this century that they have been open about this so its the discussion around it that's new, not the biology.

How to make a women orgasm and how long it takes is another matter altogether but they desire and enjoy orgasms as much as men.
