Shouldnt this thread read someone ugly rather than unusual?

I wouldn’t agree with that. Take BBC Northern Ireland presenter Jo Scott, she’s certainly not ugly but if you told anyone you “knocked one out” to her they’d call it an “unusual” choice.

    Not an ugly one.

But every time that someone picks a person that's even mildly good looking, someone else comes along to have a good bitch that some good looking person was picked.

Ah, I see your point. I suggested the actress Maura Tierney recently enough but she wasn’t seen as “unusual”.

Again, I’d say if you told anyone she was your “**** fodder” I’m not sure they’d think that was a fine choice.

In fact, I think they’d think it was “unusual”.

But, I have to say, a thread with “ugly” in the title might seem a bit “mean spirited” and you’ll also have people arguing who qualifies as “ugly”.

Yea I was thinking that too. Someone could be unusual to someone for many reasons and sometimes it's just that the person probably wouldn't be recognized as very good looking but alright looking and stands out to the poster.

Anyway I think Kevin James from King of Queens is quite cute.

well apparently, beauty (and ugliness) is in the eye of the beholder

To be fair, Ann Widdecombe wasn't a bad-looking woman at all in her younger days:

*shudder* There's something very off-putting about her to me.
She's like an elderly little girl.

Reminds me vaguely of Shirley Henderson, the actress who played "Moaning Myrtle" in the Harry Potter movies. On train so can't post photo.
