Is it only on last night and tonight??? It's not showing on the tv guide for any other night this week. If I'm reading it right......):

I presumed it was a week long series like the last time.

I know it's on tonight and it was on last night....

But is that it then for this series? Unlike in March when it was aired every night for a week?

Actually... now I see it's on next Sat as well...

    Tough question.

Horrible question on the England manager. My guess was Capello as well, but didn't know. Jeremy was a bit of a d*** after the guy just lost half of his money and missed out on doubling it. One question can be your undoing.

Robson was there for eight years - Eriksson was around for a similar time period, but not quite that long.

Needlessly wasted lifelines by the plumber on an easy question.

I think it's "get married". Fairly sure.

I was thinking driving before the questions came up but of course it would not be that easy so it must be getting married.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

Why anyone would want to get married at 16 is beyond me. Your still a kid at that age. I am more than twice that and still no interest in getting married.

Because the parents say you can't. :)

I wouldn't have got as far as her, easy question can be the hardest.

They're only easy if you know the answer!

    I wouldn't have had a clue.

Were Clarkson's jibes at the contestants as bad in the first series? Considering how useless he was at most of the questions he was asked to help on he has some neck taking the piss out of the contestants' performance.

He basically bullied the woman into answering the contactless question without taking some lifelines when she was just guessing, he had started out by mocking the previous player then gave her stick over using a lifeline on an early question as well as making fun of her being slow at answering.

Tarrant put the contestants at ease and if he made jokes it was with them not at them, everything about Clarkson's style is wrong for interacting with people, he even manages to shoo the players off stage in a rude way.

I'd love to see someone go on and give him back some stick, there certainly are no shortage of jokes you could have at his expense.

No ,he was more restrained in the first series ,as I'd imagine he was under strict instructions from the producers.
He is showing his true colours now.

He is an obnoxious , ignorant ,windbag and a really poor presenter.

I cant watch the new series with him as host ,he is just so poor .
    Tarrant was the master.

I'd like to see Noel Edmonds have a go at it ,I think he could be quite good .

Clarkson was in much better form tonight ,I'd say ITV gave him a right bollicking after his performance last week.

I just blank Clarkson out ,he is unwatchable . I watch re runs of the Classic ones on Challenge and Chris Tarrent is so much better and a great presenter

    It's Marilyn Monroe

    Excellent question! Very enjoyable episode.

    Just a logistics question.

So they have six(?) potential contestants, there and the show is live(live to tape?) and unedited (?), so do they have production staff with each of the phone a friends for each potential person ?

    It's Marilyn Monroe

I wouldn't have chanced it but then I didn't get the question about toilet being water closet. :)

Wow. That was a great episode tonight. I don't blame your man for not going on with the Marilyn Monroe answer.

But by god; his performance tonight was sensational. He thoroughly deserves getting his winnings tonight.

I should have known it as she was 36 when she died in 1962.

You would think more of the audience would have know the Givenchy answer, with Megan Markel wearing one. Only remembered that when Clarkson referenced it.

i'd guess that all the friends are probably in the same room ,backstage or something

I think it's two, phone a friends, allowed. That makes a total if twelve invigilators. Those could be simply interns, main cost would be travel.
    But you could be right.
