    Hi guys

In hospital at the moment undergoing surgery and may be here for another 2 weeks - been here 2 weeks already.

I constantly feel thirsty, especially at night, and have noticed I'm probably drinking 2 litres of Lucozade Original a day added to what they're giving me in here (milk, orange juice, water, yoghurt drinks)

Do I need to cut down on the Lucozade and what would be a good drink to switch to in order to quench the thirst - was considering Innocent Juices or Innocent Smoothies but they're so bloody expensive.

    Cheers

MiWadi 0% sugar range concentrate is delicious and thirst quenching. Either Orange, Apple & Pear Will satisfy most.

Given that you are posting in the middle of the night suggests that you have had too much lucozade :-)

    Lol

Not a massive fan of Mi Wadi- I'm guessing Ribena Light/0% Blackcurrant/Strawberry/Apple & Strawberry diuluted would do a similar job?

Also would Luco necessarily keep me awake? Although it does contain sugars and caffeine

    thanks

I hate normal Wiwadi as well but the 0% sugar range is totally different and so much more tasty.

Easy on the fruit juices could be tough on your gut. Maybe look at getting some additive for water that are good for your gut after a dose of antibiotics. Mega flora or something along those lines. A probiotic, the doctor dealing with you should be able to recommend one.

    Why not just regular water?

Worked for me when I was incarcerated as such
