Jesus, what the hell was yer man's problem??? It was an honest (and quite funny) mistake and pages later he's still clutching his pearls over it and accusing everyone who tried to explain it to him of being part of a clique.

    What an odd individual.

Also, his son was dead right, to be fair.

The drama when word got out that your private forum beers might be "invaded" by people from another private forum lol.

I don't know about any of that real life stuff but on here a couple of years ago a few people from the Reality TV forum invaded the Late Late Show thread on the TV forum and there was confusion everywhere. It was all like...

    I liked Czarcasm.

He's still here, so you get to like him under a different guise.

Oh, Ginandtonicsky. A very perceptive and articulate poster who I hope comes/is back. Always had a sensible take on things.

Is she gone for good? I really hope she comes back. We didn't always agree but she seemed like such a lovely and level headed person.

And not to far away from SFP either I think ;)

I do think that it, "Czarcasm" is a fúcking epic user name that it is a shame to see departed...
No matter how sound the re-reg is!

My favourite Permabear thread was his hatred of Irish names and how they were bad for your career. He tried to back this up with a "study" with some parents who named one of their kids "Loser". Gas ****er.

As in Irish names like Sean or Padraic? Or people who spell their full names in Irish?

If the latter he was bang on. Take a look at the comments section of any media post and they're almost always the biggest d1cks.

I'd be far less likely to take for an interview someone with their name spelled in Irish than an anyone else similarly experienced

He was upset because Jason was being evicted though. Take that into account.

Gimme a pound and kikilarue seem to have left the building. Hopefully not permanently.

    Two fine posters.

    Lol !
Just reading back on the thread , good lord :D
When the shows were on , the thread would move so fast you'd have to read back on it afterwards to catch the posts you missed .

Or maybe that was just me :p

Lots of posters names there that I haven't seen in a long time though :(

I was very entertained reading the ‘ I’m eating my breakfast Kate’ thread this afternoon. Very funny.

What was funniest, was for ages afterwards in random threads, posters would post "I'm eating my breakfast, Kate."
Seemed to go on for ages.
Good to have humour back in AH:D

You're seriously saying you wouldn't invite someone to interview just for having an Irish name based on BTL commenters? That's nuts

Was she Bambi985 as well? Similar style. Liked her posts

Yes, I think so. She had a distinctive, measured way about her. Very likable poster.

Exactly. I don't know if she's gone for good but if she isn't or if she's back in another guise then I hope she's reading this and knows she's missed and was appreciated. :)

    Hhhmmmm.

Have you ever been fond of a poster, then they go ahead and re-reg and you just cant warm to them again?

Also, I have no idea who the new Czarcasm is but glad they are still around.

Oh I've got a... *gut feeling* that Gimme a Pound is around here somewhere! ;) After all, isn't there a little Gimme a Pound in all of us? In fact, you might even say we just... ate Gimme a Pound and she's in our stomachs right now!

A Gaelgoir is one thing, but IMO / experience, the vast majority of non fluent who choose to spell their names in Irish are ....................d1cks

It's really a shame she's gone. Hope she is OK because she had seemed quite down the last few times I saw her posting here.

I am on my 4th or 5th account, have been on these boards for years. I posted more frequently especially on the paranormal board, on my first account, and I even met up with a few from over there...Sadly, I can't even remember the username lol. I am useless at remembering my passwords etc.

I was wondering when someone would bring her up. Soooooo many accounts. And yes, so many personas. In one she was anorexic and so thin she couldn't conceive and it was affecting her relationship. In another she was BBW and her boyfriend thought it was the hottest thing ever. Then she had the nost amazing skin ever and her employer wanted to use her photos to flog skin treatments but hers was just naturally like that and what should she do cause it was just sooooo unethical...

And god love you if you crossed her. She was vicious about getting back at people. To the point of being obsessed. I find that so bizarre. Ain't nobody got time fo' dat, like.

Wait til you see, I'll be doxed shortly now if she's still around.

This name has come up a few times.
    Penny drops... :p

Remember Our man in havana ? He was a long-term mod of an obscure forum (broadcasting I think) who seemed to have a nervous breakdown and went rogue.
