not only is he a laughing stock, a scumbag and an ar5eh0le, but he is also disgustingly ugly looking, with a huge broken looking bulbous nose, and is flogging a vile "whiskey" to other degenerate scumbags.

he is absolutely hideous to look at, listen to or hear about.

a grotesque joke of a human being. barely human at all in fact, just a mess of cells with no brain connected.

    Brilliant !

Very hard to see the full story here..what happened leading up to the hit etc. But not what I was trying to say either way. Ws talking about fighters in general and the wind up that they get.

I’d say there was a strong possibility that McGregor was after partaking in some ‘stimulants’ and was in a highly ‘refreshed’ state. Took offence at someone not wanting to drink his whiskey, and lashed out.

At the time, the story was that he was coked out of it. It appears so from the picture of him outside the pub.

A clip on the ear, not a punch. But still a classless, scummy thing to do.

not a clip on the ear a sloppy attempt at a unprovoked knock out of a unaware auld lad what they call a kink hit in oz ,

also the article reads like it was written by some one using English as a 2nd or 3rd language

For all the people in this thread wondering what the back story is. This was reported in the news back in April, just there was no video for it.

McGregor was being his boisterous party-mode self, old man approached him and had a snarky word with him to cop on. Then told McGregor "The Russian battered you." to get a rise out of him.

McGregor pretending it didn't piss him off, tried to laugh it off like it was banter, and started pouring everyone drinks of his Whiskey. The same lad that told him he got battered by the Russian rejected McGregor twice, and then he lost the rag with him.

It's the same incident. From April:

Trying to fit in overwhelming loud show off dickhead into a single word. Boisterous fits.

Quite the pair of skinny jeans on him too. A fashion icon.

seems intent on only wearing clothes at least 2 sizes too small for him.

    probably starting with his jocks.

I'm sure that there is something Freudian in there - or most likely he just has a tiny cock.

Absolute scummy thing to do, hitting what looks like a man easily 20/25 years older than him.

But wouldn't expect much else from him. If he can't take a refusal like that, and a bit of banter, without lashing out, he needs help.

God knows what might have happened if he hadn't been dragged away?

The customer didn't flinch after a punch to the side of the head.

He did, did you not see it?

Alot of the commentary in those articles isn't backed up by the footage.

They say the man went up to him etc but looked like he was just sitting there.

Jaysus, clothes size, underwear and penis size. That's what it comes to now when publicly berating someone.

At least no one accused him of wearing bootcut jeans, the ultimate insult.

Wonder did he punch him or fling drink in his face. Seems unusual that no charges would arise from him blatantly punching someone in a public bar, with CCTV to boot.

If I'm not mistaken it was reported a few months ago that it was being investigated? So it wasn't up to anyone other than Gardai/DPP to press charges if that were the case.

In my experience, MMA gyms tend to filter out the scummers fairly quickly

I did, Kickboxing (as a tween and teen), Judo (as a teen) and boxing (as a young adult) and I am far from a scumbag. I was kind of a nightmare as a child but not a scumbag, but these gave me a great outlet, skills, and also helped keep meon the right path because I had great role models that weren't just in the home role models.

I have continued to educate myself over the years to benefit myself careers wise and hold 3 separate 3rd level diplomas in different fields.

Any dojo or gym worth it's salt, weeds out the scummy element fairly quickly because they don't want or need it in there. Sadly there is always those few who slip through the cracks and hang around well after they should have left, and the discipline and camaraderie ingrained within you in one of these places is as good as you will get short of joining the military.

No wondering required, no glass in his hand and quite clearly a punch. Huge flinch and all.

Does seem to be an awful amount of comments on his looks. Secret crush, maybe?

I wonder how many more incidents will have to happen before he hits rock bottom and hopefully learns how to be a decent and honorable person.

He had a stellar rise to fame, now were are seeing an equally stellar fall, I just hope he can pull himself together before his life and the other lives he effects get destroyed.

I know you're blatantly trolling but I'll ask one last question. Can you show me one popular sport that doesn't have scumbags involved? Just one will do.

Not so sure about that. Mike Tyson was far wealthier than MacGregor will ever be (before you adjust for inflation, he was maybe four times richer). He couldn't handle the money, frittered it away on crazy shít, and ended up bankrupt. I'm not sure if he's even paid back all his debts yet.

Can see McGregor going the same way, especially with the crowd he has around him, if some of the stories are true. Ah well.
