    Fascinating choice. I do like a pack of kings but I'd go for Taytos circa year 2000.

    We move into the business end of proceedings now as the 4 Bosses make their way into the tournament. For this round, a fighter will need to accumulate 9 votes to progress and reasons must be given from here on out. If there's no reason, the vote won't count. We stay with the random number generator again. Ready... FIGHT!

    I had a soft spot for Balrog - interesting fact. He was originally called M Bison, as a play on Mike Tyson, but they had to change his name for obvious copywrite reasons.

    However, I pick Ken. He could kick at least, so had more in the arsenal than Balrog had.

    They basically rotated the names among the three bosses to avoid the copywrite as you said and because they felt Vega wasn't a threatening enough name for the head boss. So they did:

    Claw -> Vega
    Vega -> M. Bison
    M. Bison -> Balrog
