You'll need to be signed up in the Subway app so they can scan it but its worth having that around anyway for the occasional freebie, Ill let HUKD explain as its the same deal over here:

Some comments on HUKD recommending entering your details in the app and restarting to get it to show?

You need at least 1000 points on your subcard to qualify, ie registering for a free one won't work, as I've just found out

I had close to 8000 on mine at one stage.....

On the expiration At one point I had a few thousand points, went away for a year and they didn't expire. Not sure on the timeframes on expiration

FYI - it appears none of the franchise holders were told about this and some are not giving away the free sub. the one is spoke to which i usually go to says that there will probably be a new email clarifying the offer. The franchisee has to cover the cost of it.

Just got a free wrap in Sandyford (by the old Microsoft building). They usually cost €7.20 :eek:
They never scanned my app so will get another one tomorrow

Wondering the same. I presume it will auto deduct when you scan your subcard QR code? But wondering if the cashier needs to be made aware before hand?
