British woman who accused 12 Israeli teens of gang-raping her in Cyprus is ARRESTED for 'making false allegations' and ALL the men who were arrested over the 'attack' are released.

What an awful thing to do. Mud sticks.

And this is why the accused should never be identified prior to a verdict being made. Those men were marched infront of the media, reputations potentially destroyed. She should get 5 years in jail.

False rape allegations - by both women and men - are absolutely horrific. Even if the accused are found innocent in a court of law, reputations and lives can be, and are, destroyed.

Anyone convicted of making false rape/sexual assault allegations should face a custodial sentence.

There is nothing worse to a man than getting accused of rape or child abuse. False accusations need to be taken very seriously, without creating a culture where women wont actually make complaints against actual offences.

Should get 5 years for each false allegation...so that's 60 years in total. Would send out a strong message

What is it that makes some women be alright to consent to a sex act with multiple men except if somebody finds out then claim rape to save face.

Must be a different paddy Jackson case that I read about. The one in Ireland didn't have any false allegations. There was never any suggestion that she made it up.

Considering she claimed they filmed it while all 12 raped her or helped the others to, I'd say it's a good chance it didn't happen.

That or it did, and in which case said video probably helped them.

She wasn't raped.

But she didn't agree or consent to be filmed naked or performing sexual acts. She was unaware of the camera. They didn't tell her.

Thus they are hardly snow white.

I agree.
It seems that DNA went against her claims. This suggests to me that it didn't happen & wasn't recorded

Didn't similar happen to some Irish lads a few years ago? falsely accused if I recall.

I would say in this case, thank god they did film the act, otherwise without that evidence they'd be banged up.

Worth noting that there was glee in some quarters that these were Israelis. News spread like wildfire initially with the usual suspects trying to squeeze maximum propaganda out of this.

I suspected it was bull**** from the start because it's not a very 'Israeli' thing to do. Especially a group of 12 boys. Unheard of really.

There are certain news stories that just don't ring true and this was one. It's like if there was a news report that 10 Irish lads mugged an 80 year old French woman in Paris whilst on holiday. I'd be like....really? that doesn't sound like the lads. Suspicious.

But the accused were found not guilty, so as far as the court was concerned it wasn’t proven that the alleged incident actually occurred.
