Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You can get Frank's hot sauce in any supermarket here. Same as US I think.

Any hot sauce would work, there's a huge range available in every supermarket. Have you no Tabasco in the house?

    Is tabasco a "hot sauce"?

Hot sauce is another name for a vinegar based chilli sauce, as opposed to a sweet chilli sauce like the Thai versions.
Tabasco, Franks, Mics are all versions of Hot sauce available here.

the recipe calls for 6 tablespoons, so tabasco might be a wee bit hot!

When you get Franks, make sure to get the one with red top.
The ones for wings will have an extra butter taste

Some Asian shops in Cork sell Crystal Hot Sauce.
    It's a Louisiana hot sauce.
I prefer it to Frank's - a bit less vinegary and more chilli flavour.

I agree, Louisiana hot sauce is nicer.
But Tabasco and Franks are very common in shops.

Frank's and Tabasco are both Louisiana made vinegar based sauces. One made with Tabasco peppers and the other cayenne.

Hi, I am looking at a recipe for LLoaded Baked Potato & Chicken Casserole and it includes an ingredient "Hot Sauce". This is a US recipe and I was wondering what I might use in Ireland for hot sauce.

There is only one - https://theribman.co.uk/collections/sauces

Presume they mean that particular brand of sauce.
