It has been a while on here, brought my 20 year old son to Glasgow Airport for an introductory flight at Leading Edge, piad the upgrade for myself and my younger son to fly at the back. Some photos at the Airport and from G-ISLY over Loch / Ben Lomond

Was in Russia in August to visit MAKS and also to take a trip on some rare Soviet era aircraft.
Flew this TU134 to / from MAKS from Moscow Vnukovo airport. Was nice to use the same terminal the Cosmonauts use too.

Flew an internal flight on a Yak 40 and received a briefing on it from a retired Captain.... he had a glint in his eye when speaking about flying the TU134; sports car / passenger fighter jet of the sky he said!!!

Flew on this helicopter on a few min scenic flight over St PEtersburg.... highly recommended. Helicopter was immaculate and allot quieter inside than I anticipated.

Flew on this AN28 too. Operated by a parachute club so we went up with the parachutists and once they were off; the pilot put it into a 38 degree nose dive. interesting experience.

This Tu104 is been slowly restored by a girl who is totally passionate about the aircraft.... incredible to see the attention to detail she has and all in her own time.

Late September; went with Airliner Experience to Kiev where we got airside tours of both Kiev airports; tour of the Aviation College; visited the aviation musuem and also went to other places of interest in Kiev.
Great trip and would highly recommend it as a city to visit especially with Ryanair flying direct from Dublin.
Anyway; one of the highlights for me was getting so close to the live runway and taking photos like these.
