Read that Irish Times article and found it interesting how when it was a missing persons case at the start, gardai used PULSE to find out Boy B's surname.

    why is that interesting?

Hadn’t read the full report when I posted. but that seems likely.

But it is odd he and his father were walking near enough by when the gardai searching came across them.

I don’t have kids but what 13 year old goes for a walk with his da? especially one internet obsessed and fond of fvcked up videos about torture?

    Something doesn’t add up.

They weren’t going for a walk . Boy A had told his Dad he was attacked in the park earlier . The dad drove A to the park to see if he could find the “ attackers “
The dad had banged on the rangers door to inform him of the “ attack “ by two men

But are we sure Boy B ran ? He lied about everything and every move so why believe he ran ? For all we know its another lie and maybe he cheered A on ? We don’t know

Boy B stood and watched the whole thing.
There was blood on his shoe was there not?

Person of interest, 'known' to them, local eh.. 'character' that the AGS might view as having the capacity to doing something odd.

Just saw a picture of it. It looks like a small enough facility. Guess it woukd Be east enough to separate them from each other just stagger their meal times and excercise time. I was told these kids in there are free to walk around though and it’s more like a youth hall than a prison.

I have been there a few times (last time this month) and it is not true that they are free to walk around. All the doors have locks controlled by cards which only staff have.

The old Oberstown was very different to the one following the transfers from Pat's.

No. There was blood on Boy A's shoes. No forensic to link B to the scene at all. While there was male DNA on Ana's top other than A's it was inconclusive as to whose it was.

Eh, because It would imply that 13yr Boy B was already on the PULSE system.

    'You bunch of scumbags...Innocent boy':

    Boy B's father

Doesn't sound like a very middle class reaction to me

No, there was no forensics linking boy B to the crime scene. And if I remember correctly, cctv images after the event saw him passing some minutes before boy A so he may have left the scene before the murder.

I think the difficulty for those of us not in the courtroom, hearing all of the evidence, can only speculate as to the level of boy B’s involvement. Boy A on the other hand...it’s terrifying to think what he is capable of.

Sad thing about all this is, we live in a world were i constantly have to tell my 4 year oldgirl to let me know if people are mean to her, that stragers with puppies at a playground are not your friend, to shout stranger if some one approaches her, that she will be doing some shape of self defence classes as soon as she is old enough to join, that private parts are private and you show no one, and no one should show her theirs ....and my older lad keeps getting told most of the above and to look out for others if they look like they are in trouble with some one and if i heard of either of them being the meanies, they'll have another thing coming to them....

Kids should not need to be told this at such a young age...

Boy B wasn't very smart when asked about Ana, if anyone thought he was innocent before, you wouldn't after the way he spoke about her.

The pupils in her school didn't make her life easy either. They have a lot to answer for

    Nothing will happen to them.

Good chance one of them or someone in the locality will leak the names for a giggle, it will happen in one form or another online, don't worry.
Then cue the Paul Williams gutter press types waiting for one of them to be released when they get wind of that down the road.

So let me get this straight, you are comparing a child who started watching the likes of rape, animal , torture and child pornography from the age of 11 to watching a super hero film...?

I'm done. The garbage being spouted by clowns on here is too much. Born that way me hole.

It's true it is not staffed by prison officers, but while the old set up was a bit like a care home and I have never been in an adult prison, it certainly seems prison-like enough for me since the extras came over from Pat's.
Accompanied at all times, bags checked, each door only opened after the one behind it shut etc.. Not a place I would like to spend a lot of time.

If just find it incredibly sad reading how alone she was. If you have kids please tell them to look out for the less fortunate. We should be taking positives out of this case where possible.

Some minutes implies less than 10 yes?! With all we've heard and read about the case, do you honestly belive boy b ran when the assault started and boy a did all the damage in less than 10minutes... also taking into account boy b said he ran which if boy a walked would make that window even smaller

He did lure her to her death, he is an accessory to murder, and was thankfully charged and tried as such.

A few serial killers point to, 'paper porn' exposure as children, that led them along a certain path and allowing an underlying pathology, to flourish.

You don't need a mobile phone or laptop to seriously corrupt a young mind.

Ted Bundy in particular, points to access to pornographic material as a child, there's interviews on YouTube, if you care to search.
