I, myself, would like clarification on where this “spot” is. When you “rim”, OP, are we talking inner or outer “spokes”?

Could it be an ingrown hair type situation or is this located, wholly, on the “ring piece” itself?

You should really do some further investigating rather than relying on some awkwardly shot footage from your phone. Especially before you go jabbing at the “badge”.

I suggest you commence greasing to loosen up the general area before you get down to the procedure, this will help in the long term.

I would advise you to lay your mirror on the ground. By squatting over the mirror you should be able examine your region with a more profound scrutiny.

Have you double mirrored before ?

No one should perform any sort of “procedure” on their own anus without, at least, double mirroring.

You can’t just go poking at “it” with a white hot pin blind or single mirroring. You’d be very, very, lucky to hit the “afflicted” area without puncturing another part of the “balloon knot” a number of times first. Very lucky.

Something that hasn’t been mentioned at all is the “after care”. While it might sting you’d have to be dabbing some TCP or Savlon on with a cotton pad. An infection in those “nether regions” doesn’t bear thinking about, “ring piece” integrity is paramount.

A poster on this site recently recounted a story he’d heard about someone getting some form of ass infection and had to have a plastic “ring” installed. He said plastic but I’d imagine it was probably some form of vulcanised rubber. Either way, it wouldn’t be much fun.

Just be careful, OP. And double mirror, at the very least.

It is highly feasible that deeper accumulations of puss could materialise from the abcess. I would take particular care to make sure your satisfied with the viscosity of your faeces whilst passing the area. Any abrasion over the gaping scab could turn the area sour.

The last thing you need at this point is the arrival of a newer and more aggressive spot . Particularly if it starts throbbing near your anus.
