Wonder what the priest was at.

Was he being sarcastic . As in the saying is special place in hell.

Or perhaps Trump's do a good bit for charity and have pretended to be Christan and anti-abortion.

Trump is a proven adulterous biggot.

Kind if bizarre from priest. Unless he was taking the piss in an Irish way.

It was a bit of lighthearted banter, or do you see something wrong with that.

Can you imagine hearing Trumps confession? Mind blowing...

Some priests like the repenting sinners rather than the goodie goodies... gives them something to do.
X-rated confessions would be great crack .

Sure , I suppose some wans and fellas probably made up some fierce horny stuff just to get the Priest on the rise ! To resur-ect as it were !

Is that not a bit father Ted so.

I mean the priest can't be saying there is a place in heaven for a family that are actually evil personified.

It was very cringeworthy....but harmless nonetheless

Looks like the Trumps have done a lot more for the Doonbeg region than constantly anti-rural Ireland governments and media ever have.

Catholicism can be a broad-church if ya have a few pound .

Ye’d buy a long way with all the religions if ya had a few pound if truth be told .

    So what?
You think they’re feeling uncomfortable, or humiliated?

Or are you now having both those emotions on their behalf?

    Not sure it was harmless.

The church refused to deal with single mothers in my lifetime . Wouldn't even give Communion if it suited them to certain people.

Yet you have a priest hugging a trump in Clare.

Very strange . I'd say he is a bit old or daft.

Trump saw through veruca the first time he met him

He has his measure. He’s met thousands of similar types over the years.

Well I would never have heard of it without Trump. Or Ballyporeen without Reagan, Moneygall without Obama... and think the only money they spent there was a pint of Guinness. I hope the golf club and village do well out of it.

I live in a northside dublin suburb. This government doesnt like us much either. I think they have a hard time understanding the concept of electorate.

    What ??

He bought the hotel from a US hedge fund. He spent a few quid doing it up but my knowledge there was no major renovation.

JP spent a reported 50 million renovating Adare in neighbouring Limerick

Dromoland (also in Clare) had 20 millions spent and a reported 70 million spent in Ashford...

This is their hobby. I think they get energy from hating and feeling 'oppressed' by him and all the injustices he inflicts on people who arent them.

The woman in the video is similar to the type of folk that you had out protesting Trump's visit here or even the same type of numpties who had welcome refugee signs out in Sandymount Beach a few years ago at the height of ISIS filtration in Europe. A few screws loose with little to do and all day to do it.
