    Finish high on the panel and you would be offered positions.

    I got through to interviews, suprised as i didnt prep too much for the video interview.

    Through to interview too. Pleasantly surprised as I'd thought the video interview hadn't gone too well!

    Any idea how many called for interview vs how many positions they're trying to fill?

    10 days of interviews. 6 or 7 candidates a day? There may be more than one Board.

    I think the last panel had 57 for the Audit side and 35ish for the Policy and from the talk on this thread there are still people who haven't been placed. However, I think Brexit is more of a certainty than it was, so it may be that there are expected to be more Revenue posts coming out of this. Also, there appears to be an expectation of more vacancies arising in September due to retirements. It's all speculation!!

    I wonder will we have to fill in a competency based form at some stage. Imagine having to go into that interview blind!!!

    From looking at other competency forms the questions are very similar to what was asked in the video interview so it might be that's what they use?

    I'll speculate at more than one board as some people have probably applied and will get placed on both panels? And then there will be the applicants who don't make it past the interview 60 or 70 to be interviewed might not leave enough by the end of the interviews. Of course I have no idea really. I'm just happy to be on to the next stage.

    The last competition had 2 boards sitting, so probably 100 - 125 going forward to interview, with maybe half being panelled.

    So cheer up everyone, you’re in with a 50:50 shout at this stage!

    I believe less than 50% got through and 200 were video interviewed.

    So 10 days of interviews, 8/9 per day would suggest one panel? Maybe not.

    Unlikely they’ll actually sit for the full 10 days. They usually have 2 interview boards.

    But regardless, the good news is still that it’s about a 50:50 for those still standing...
