Exeter have been excellent in changing the point of attack. Going right for phases then spreading it wide quickly. Nowell has also been excellent popping into the midfield for straight up carries.

It's almost a shame that Hogg has signed for Exeter. Nowell has been electric from fullback. Picking some incredible lines in midfield and carrying strongly. He won't be able to do that nearly as much on the wing.

Ewers is a mountain of a man but clever too, be through a few fake pickups at the back of rucks and caught the Sarries line offside, well watched by Barnes too.

Itoje still acting the clown post yellow card.

I dare say Hogg might not be in 15 for long. Richie Gray and Greig Laidlaw have been found wanting down south, will be interesting to see what happens.

Not watching it but if he's deliberately faking a pick up to draw the opposition offside, that should be a penalty against him.

If only Billy could have been this placid against us.

Saracens aren't playing to the same intensity as they against Leinster. But at the same time Exeter are doing brilliantly in not allowing the Saracens defence to settle.

No, he just slaps the ground next to the ball, never actually makes a pick motion. Quite clever.

Itoje pinged again for not rolling away.

Itoje has given away 3 penalties since coming back from being yellow carded. Is the guy genuinely a moron?

Lovely try. Great work by Skinner.

    Beautiful try from Exeter

Great try that. Hopefully that will be it for the chief's.

    Itoje is a penalty machine

    Great try

Saracens Champions Cup exploits potentially hurting them, at least that will probably be the narrative if the Chiefs go and win this.

He knows he’ll get away with it. This is 3 of 4 big games he’s been carded now isn’t it? Munster and Leinster the other two?

I don't know. He's been at it since his debut but seemed to always get away with it. Refs must be getting wise to it now

Exeter are doing what Leinster didn't against Saracens. They haven't gotten sucked into a battle of collisions. They're doing what they need to do up front before going wide. Leinster had chances to go wide and score a few weeks ago, but failed to identify those opportunities.

Saracens may still win this, but Exeter won't be rueing what ifs.

This game has everything, including a typical 10 try line tackle.

Really wanting the chief's to win here. Am very nervous. Grudgingly admire sarries but can't warm to them

    Well, ****.

    Some response from Saracens.

Exeter struggling since a change in scrum half

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

    Wow!! Such a miss

Odd call for the lineout. And that is that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Exeter only themselves to blame for that one, what a mess

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

If you have an 11 point lead with 30 minutes to go and then concede 21 unanswered points you dont deserve to win any game, nevermind a final.

    Itoje, MOTM?
Is it true Healy is gone from BT after this season?

  • Registered Users Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

Austin Healy decides the person who deserves MOTM is a man who gave away 7 penalties and got yellow carded costing his team 12 points while he was off the field.

    Well done

He’s had a huge impact in the second half

He’s had a huge impact in the second half

He had a huge impact on the first half too, in a different manner.

Yep. The positives outweighed the negs. Shame that Chiefs couldn't do it - probably partly because the outstanding Nic White ran out of legs.
