If ye all go buy some t-shirts off me I can get it. 17 shirts should do it :p

I might sell a few games and get one them. Probably be a while before a battle gear will pop up again

    1. Registered Users Posts: 1,224 ✭✭✭airmax87

Reminded me the battle gear and wagan cabs were gone from quirkeys when I was there last week too !
We only popped in to hear the banging trance for maxi tune.

The virtua tennis is plugged out and stuffed behind the VF5 cab, wonder would they sell it, lovely lindberg

He probably would sell it, but don't expect reasonable price!

Costs nothing to ask though :)

      Pinball for sale on Adverts

      https://www.adverts.ie/arcade-retro/casino-2000-pinball-machine/17928201

Casino 2000, I don't know much about these things, but is €275 decent money for a pin in this condition?

You thinking about picking that up?

275 for anything pinball seems like a good deal tbh. I think that's Mitchomagic's adverts account selling it too.

    6. Registered Users Posts: 677 ✭✭✭Mitchomagic

Yep it’s mine, to many projects, something has to go, rare pin, he only done 2 titles. I know iam going to regret selling it but need must, will do a good deal for board members

Not a hope of me buying it!
I wouldn't know where to start in restoring it and then there would be the divorce ...

      Monitor looks unreal!

Was there anything to configure with the DMD/marquee thingy or did it just work from the get go with the Tekken board?

    12. Registered Users Posts: 5,780 ✭✭✭Jack burton

Just worked from the get go. There are options but I haven't looked into it yet

It's all in Japanese, or Chinese, since the cab came from China I found out. So the marquee text is in Kanji anyway but goes through the weight and blood type etc of each character in the into. Plus has some cool animations, 2 dinosaurs up there fighting during the round and it's like a live tracker of the health

said it before. I'm not into the candy cab type but this is a very slick looking one. I'd almost be tempted to look for one :)

I look forward to seeing your candy cab shed in a few years!

That Tekken board does need a repiar job. There's sound crossing over on it. Had a look and there has been a repair job on it at some stage.

Who could I send it away to for repairs?

I think Vectorglow over on AO is the lad to go to for board repairs if I remember correctly.

Drilled the locks on that generic woodie i got yesterday, the guy said it was 1943 in it so wanted to take a look. Its a Airplane game alright.. but not 1943.

      cps11.jpg

      cps13.jpg

Carrier Air Wing.. Plugged it into the Supergun and .. Graphics glitches. But all is not lost, i plugged it into a working A board and the issue carried over, and i tried a working B and C with the A board and all good, so the A board is working. Yay. Ill have a go trying to fix the B and C boards. Happy with that though!

Yeh I’ll have a good look at it during the week. I literally just plugged it in for a few minutes and swapped the A board.

Started Cleaning these cabs etc today and noticed that the monitor, a Hantrax, in the Generic cab is missing the chassis! Doh.. Anyone got any idea what one i need and where i can get one of these? As im keeping this as a bubble bobble for myself no way im putting an LCD in it. sorry for the blurry image! It looks like an 18 inch tube.

Also.. Maybe you guys would know, I got these two Monitors off the guy for free yesterday as well. One is a Nanao and the other a sanwa, they look about 28inch . Both have small "scuffs" on them, i dont know if they will polish out, i ran my finger over them and they dont feel deep at all. Are they worth anything in this condition ? one has chassis attached and another separate. Id be happy to trade these to get my other monitor above working. If they arent worth anything then im heading the dump with them this week as i dont unfortunately have the room to keep the sitting around.

What size is the hantarex tube? If it's 25" then a mtc9110 chassis would be needed. I got an Ebay alert for 2x for sale a day or two ago for approx 90 which is a great price if working.

    28. Moderators, Computer Games Moderators Posts: 5,383 Mod ✭✭✭✭Optimus Prime

No its just 18 or 19" i havent taken it out or anything but measuring with a tape through the glass thats what it looks like.

Also try to avoid dumping the monitors. Maybe the tubes if scratched dump them (salvage the wiring) but the chassis and frames are easy store or donate to others...

Sounds like an mtc9000 chassis is needed then. I don't have any but will check the rest of the chassis here in case any are compatible.
