In the attempt to tackle Lowe he got a boot to the head. he looked in diffs immediately.

If you could rephrase this in a way that would promote derision of Haleys character, that would be swell.

In his poor tackle attempt, he head butted Lowe's foot and cried off in shame.

That's a bizarre take on it and I suspect not one you would take if the scoreline was reversed. They're two of the best teams in Europe and played like it. Munster's attack is a problem but it has long been a problem against any side that can beat them in the forwards. Their continuity and retention was pretty good for the most part but lacked some focus and creativity in the red zone. Another team could have shipped 40 today.

Leinster's attack was excellent in the second half. Not sure how it was poor. 10 line breaks is decent. The Cronin try was superb from the line out maul to being dotted down. Excellent lines from Kearney, Lowe and Conan. Very good direction from Byrne to sling it wide twice at the perfect moment and brilliant play from the front row.

The physicality and pressure from both defences was a huge factor in the teams respective errors which is a credit to both sides.

You're completely overlooking the first half. Balls tossed into touch, knock ons. Leinster fans around me at half time were not happy at all. Better attack in the second without doubt

Made numerous of 1 on 1 tackles today including a few on Lowe so pipe down not as if any of the Leinster couch experts would be any better or ye might have gone pro yerselves

Begorrah and bejaysus! Do some Munster fans genuinely reckon that the use of anachronisms like "ye" and "yer" help to add authenticity to their posts?

I hope we get a gif or clip of the Lowe/Conway incident around the 75th minute. They get into a fight, separate and Lowe immediately launches himself into a ball carrier and forces a knock on. He got up and started laughing at Conway.

And they remedied that in the 2nd half.

Are you pulling the piss? I can assure you both of those are very commonly in use in modern day Ireland. Maybe not in your little bubble.

I don't think Beirne makes the plane if everyone is healthy. I think even Kleyn would be ahead of him to be honest.

Just watching back the TV coverage, by jaysus O'Callaghan and EOS eviscerated a few Munster lads for attitude and application.

What Donnacha said was important; when the likes of POM Murray and Beirne are off with Ireland, a few new leaders are going to have to grab the Munster Pre-Season by the scruff of the neck and set some serious goals and levels of acceptability.

Maybe a topic for another thread but I dont see Beirne on the plane to Japan. Just hasn't really done it over the last few weeks!

The Lowe mythology has already begun. Fans seeing knock-ons where they never existed.

    This is how cults form!

Better in the second half yeah but was the first try not against 14 men?

Lowe's one was down to Haley's poor tackling attempt

I wasn't impressed with either attack today. Lots of aimless stuff out there. The ball was like a hot potato at times for both teams. Leinster's attack was better though as a unit. Bar Earls and Farrell we offered little of note.

Lowe had all of 5 hundredths of a second to make that read and he absolutely nailed it. Class.

It's hard to say where Beirne stands really. He's an excellent player obviously, but neither Munster or Ireland seem to get the best out of him. That's also down to him too. Doesn't have that top end physicality the best second rows have. There were a few instances today of him running at Ryan only to be hit back from where he came from. If he travels to the WC it's as fourth choice lock.

Leinster made the 1 man advantage pay

Munster couldn't. And it was very similar story in December. Leinster left wing was in the bin so Munster kept trucking it up the middle. Leinster far from perfect but the intent was there

The problem i see is that he fulfills pretty much the same duties at Pom, though he carries a bit more.

Both players end up negating each other

    You seem quite angry.
Leinster are a very good team. Last week they lost to a great team, this week they beat an average team.
    Is that not enough ?

I look forward to seeing Celtic fans supporting a team in blue next week.

Fardy was excellent again. Carried on his form from last week's cup final where he was outstanding. He's such a niggly player in the best possible way. Enters rucks with dubious legality, stays there for a split second too long, slows the ball, but for just a short enough duration to not get penalised.

    Magnificent ultra sh1thouse.

Pity to see Toner go off injured, he will be missed next week :(

At the Pro12 final in 2016, we were surrounded by Glasgow fans who had bought tickets in the expectation of their team qualifying. In the first half Niyi Adeolokun electrified the crowd with some great running and breaks. Guy beside us was loving it... said he was a Rangers fan but this was the first time he was cheering a team in green.

(Bit of a silly comment from Leo though)

Carbery is only going to get better, but today was nowhere near his best showing. A lot of pressure was put on him to be Munsters creative hub, but he just didn't cut it. He tried to take it all on himself, but he was telegraphing things. Gets the ball in two hands, shuffles to the side as if he's attempting a break, but then pops the pass to a forward running at pace onto the ball. It looked to be their gameplan, but it was easily read by Leinster's defence.

When he tried to very things the execution was badly off. Leinster were rushing up quickly in defence so he dinked a chip over the top that was over hit and landed straight into McGrath's arms.

Beirne to the back row? Maybe not too crazy tbh
