Anyone know the last time Ross Byrne lost a game against Munster?

My memory only goes back to last season and I don't recall him losing a game.

This isn't a 'my 10 is better than your 10' type post. Genuine question for interest.

Probably hasn't, the last time we lost was Madigan would have played 10.....taking Sexton loss at Christmas of course out of it

To add to this, when was the last time a full strength Leinster team lost in the RDS?

He started in Thomond in 2016-17 season and lost. His W/L record from starts V Munster is 3-1.

Pro 12/14-wise, I wouldn't know, but you'd probably have to go back to MOC and the season they lost the opener to Wasps in the Champions Cup? Some record in fairness.

Very strong Leinster team but a decent Munster team too. Heart obviously wants Munster to play out of their skin and notch up another win against the blues but head is very aware of the following facts:

    1. Munster played brutal in last Pro14 game. Nuff said.
    2. Munster have lost 2 coaches in the last few days, that's going to have some impact on players mentality.
    3. Leinster will be desperate to get into the final for silverware after that clobbering last weekend so they'll play a perfect game.
    4. Its in Dublin, home crowd. Although admittedly this is almost irrelevant.

Then again Munster are seeing Carbery and Earls return and could have one of those days were they just go balls out and thrown the kitchen sink at em and win.

Still all signs point to a Leinster win but its a semi final and Munster could just click and piss all over bookies predictions.

    Hon Munster.

I'd agree with much of your post, but not so sure about this, think the home fixture is a huge advantage to Leinster. If we were playing them in Thomond, I'd be more confident but I think the bookies have it spot on for this one, alas...

I know but your comparing the RDS which is smaller and lets face it inferior (no offence cucumber sandwich munchers) to Thomond park. The RDS doesn't have the same cauldron atmosphere and yes I have been there. And won't there be a very decent percentage of Munster fans going up in anyway? Thus why I think its the lest relevant point.

If Munster lose tomorrow its not going to be because of a home advantage. Munster need to play out of their skin tomorrow more than anything.

Sorry but this just isn't true about the RDS. It's not Thomond but it can be very loud at capacity because of its proximinity to the action.

The Connacht game this year for example was as loud as any game I've been to in any stadium.

Meh look we'll agree to disagree. I think Thomond has more atmosphere on a good day.

On a good day being the key term.

    Usually it's half empty.

Sure its not that long ago (pre 2009 ) Leinster would be lucky to get a few hundred fans turn out for them. Wearing cricket jerseys gobbling the oul cucumber sandwiches & earl gray tea.

The RDS is a cracking stadium, like any stadium it depends on the crowd

The European games are mostly season ticket holders etc so the atmosphere is class.

All stadium including Thomond stuff from poor atmosphere depending on the occasion.....

    Wow some scoreline.

Home game essentially for Glasgow in the final assuming they'll travel in their masses. Will be tough for whoever gets there.

I'm looking forward to seeing Healy and Furlong make mincemeat out of that front row.

No way. Its about as bad as you get. A 20s/30s(?) stand, and three porta-stands. You can only get in from the two short ends. Literally portacabin shops, food, and jacks. Most of it vulnerable to the elements. Itty bitty wheel along scoreboards (or a blue one that does trick to your eyes).
I am not sure what redeeming feature it has at all really.
Free parking in the housing estates around it I suppose, which is better then Thomond and Ravenhill. But that about it. In all other respects, its like a makeshift ground while the real one is being renovated or something.

Toilets I use are permanent and the food trucks have better choice than pretty much any stadium in any sport I’ve been to.
