Stander at 7 and JOD on the bench, and no Cloete. Looks like we're going beefy for this one.

It's a very strong Leinster bench. Fardy, Porter and Deegan will bring a lot of impact. I also thought we'd see JGP this week. More than happy to have Lowe start though.

Well the Munster kids would have more bite in them, similar to Alun Wyn Jones.....

I do remember last time I was in Thomond for a game, kids all along street giving us the middle finger as we drove past.....:p:p:p:p:p

Going by the muck you're spouting, the kids judged you right,

If Leinster hit hard for the first 10 mins they'll win handy, if they give Munster a sniff anything is possible, but it's hard to see past Leinster with their ability to notch the Intensity dial up to 11 at certain moments of games, they did it to Saracens for periods last week but the Saracens dial goes up to 12.

No RDS farewell for SoB either. Shame that.

I'll be very annoyed if we put out our premium players against this Munster side. The average age of the Leinster 23 shouldn't be above 22. This is the pre-final matinee show for the children. Nothing else.

    :pac:

The broadway run was last weekend. The reviews didn't go well. ;)

Surprised at that, but a good sign for Deegan that he got the bench spot for the CC Final and has retained it for the Pro14 final over SOB.

Also the CC final may have been Rob Kearney's last game in blue if he doesn't re-sign.

Sexton benched in case he loses his mind again? :D

Lots of power in that Munster pack. Wonder if they're trying to Saracens us?

Might not have shaken off his injury, but given that Rob Kearney, Adam Byrne, Tomane and Barry Daly are all injured and McFadden is suspended, we literally have no-one else to pick in the back three, Lowe had to play.

Do we know if SOB is dropped rather than injured?
(The 3rd option of "rested" doesn't apply at this stage of the season surely?)

Also this can't do his chances of making the WC squad any good.

    This is the semi-final.

Dropped I think. No mention of injury. With VDF back its likely a case of 'better players available'.

Amazing to think that it will be Sextons first league game since the last Munster game if he comes on.

Makes sense when you figure in the 6N etc but surprised it's been five months!

Stop the little jabs now it's just getting tiresome.

There are teams and rugby to talk about

Yes but he's usually played at least one or two in between.

    Unavailable according to Cullen

There's no mention of injury for anyone.

    Most likely he's injured.

Edit: Now confirmed but Cullen says he should be back next week if needed.

According to Ruaidhri O'connor's Twitter, Kearney isn't injured and he has been dropped. And SOB isn't getting a final game in the RDS as he is injured

Anyone know the last time Ross Byrne lost a game against Munster?

My memory only goes back to last season and I don't recall him losing a game.

This isn't a 'my 10 is better than your 10' type post. Genuine question for interest.
