The Frey's/Bolton's wouldn't have sent her corpse/bones back to Winterfell, which was abandoned at the time. Frey's also wouldn't have sent them to the Bolton's in Winterfell to put in the tombs. After that, they were all dead by the time Winterfell was taken by the Starks.

Btw! Not attacking you and I agree with the end of your original post! People just keep bringing up lady stone heart!

I also really struggle to see how they are going to wrap stuff up. I think we will all be slightly disappointed in the end, simply due to not enough time.

Agree, if a plotline hasn't been started by now, it isn't going to be.
Even if a load of character arcs are gonna come to an end next week

Lady Stoneheart, with four episodes left? Let it go... Who could have possibly resurrected her?? If she ain't in by now, she ain't in.

Random red priestess number #1,001!? :pac:

It's one of the big unfortunates of adapting something....even though GRRM has lamented her omission, he has also said that he's not at the mercy of trying to make a narrative fit for tv.

I can see Missandei, Jorah and Varys all perishing in the next episode if for nothing more than leaving Dany completely isolated, with nothing but a Lannister left to guide her through her crisis brought on by Jon's admission.....or is he going to embrace his true name now!?

Worry not friend, Jaime Fookin Lannister is there should any Kingslaying be needed!

Think that Jaime is definitely going to survive the shenanigans of the upcoming battle(s), in order to fulfil the valonqar prophesy and queen-slaying Cersei...

Thinking that if Jon does survive, he may end up being the (somewhat reluctant) king in the Iron Throne, and the one to truly unite the north with the other 6 kingdoms...

Can't see Danaerys being the one to take the throne, she's been showing too many mad-queen traits recently to be fit to rule. Think she'll either be killed by someone close to her in order to prevent her becoming the mad queen, or will sacrifice herself to save Jon, now that she knows that he's the rightful heir. (Following some agro between them about this.)

I am coming around to the concept that both John and Danny heiress die. I think he dies saving everyone and I have a sneaker she is pregnant and dies during childbirth. It is possible the night king could threaten her baby ( might be too deep at this stage ), either way the baby survives and some sort of regency is set up until the baby becomes king/queen of the seven kingdoms.

GRM has always mooted towards a bitter sweet ending. I think both John and Danny heiress have had the two biggest arcs in the series, having one of them win and the other lose seems to much of an option. They both don't get what they want, sure who ever does?

IF she's pregnant, she won't give birth on the show. There's 4 eps left and we've had no indication she is, and even then we'd have to a jump forward 8-9 months for her to die in childbirth, it doesn't seem feasible in the time left.
    Same for Cersei too!
IF someone is pregnant I can only see their offspring being a feature if we do three episodes in this battle of the living v the dead and the final episode is some sort of "dream of spring" flash forward

With Gendry helpfully reminding us about the Melisandre and the power of King's Blood I assume that at some stage one of the Targaryen's will have to sacrifice themselves in order to destroy the Night King. The Prince(ss) That Was Promised will stick their sword in the other one and draw it out again as a flaming sword like Beric's only far more powerful.

What's the current thinking on the Night King being a Targaryen?

Just struck me that the burning body-part spiral symbol is very akin to the crest of house Targaryen, but I'm sure this has been noted already.

It was the children of the forest who created the Night King. Bran saw the creation in his memories. If the original identity of the Night King was significant I think Bran would already know, through that particular memory or others.

Show writers have said that symbol is a 'bast*rdisation of the Children of the Forest's symbol, like Satanists using an upside down cross.

What if Melisandre is Nissa Nissa? Who John has to plung his sword into to get Lightbringer?

She did say to Varys that they both will die in Westeros.

Could this be her role, also if it is her role, seeing as she was banished from Winterfell, it means that Winterfell is going to lose the up coming battle.

I think Jon will kill Danaerys to get Lightbringer.

My prediction for next week; we lose Brienne, because she finally got what she's always wanted, Tormund, because he was bragging, and Arya, because I hope so, she and the actress who portrays her have always wrecked my head.

Tormund probably goes while going to Brienne's assistance.

I think Arya has plot immunity due to GRRM's wife being a massive fan of the character.

Yeah, she made the fatal mistake of smiling and being happy for a minute. Kiss of death on GoT.

Alt-Shift X has his second episode breakdown up on YouTube, excellent as always.

    Oooh... one more sleep!

I watched episode 1 & 2 again today in preparation of the battle and I enjoyed them much more. I can't wait for this episode but at the same time I don't want it to happen as so many are going to die. The worst is they'll reanimate and their friends will have to "kill" them again. I'm expecting something like Jamie/Brienne, Arya/Gendry :(

The NK was created a thousand years ago and the Targaryen's only showed up about 300 years ago.

Bran wakes up from his coma after Jsmie pushed him and all of it was a dream.

His wet nurse told him stories of knights and dragons and wights. This is all in Brans mind. Ned will be standing at the foot of his bed telling him he woke up just in time as Winter is coming

    *roll credits*

It worked in Dallas which was really an 80s version of GoT

Bobby was Ned Stark, which proves that Ned will awake in the shower or whatever they have in Westeros as a shower equivalent.

Had to laugh at Jon and his frustration at not being able to get past Viserion...he being out of ammo and tricks so to speak, then deciding 'fúck it' and jumping out to shout-down an undead dragon. It totally has put the going on me for a Skyrim replay.

I'm a lot more uncertain on Bronn now and his potential impact.

Yeah I was sure he'd show up late to save Tyrion or Jaime from certain death, thus changing sides and turning on Cersei. Mind you maybe he'll just do that a bit later now, seeing as we've 3 bumper episodes left.

How did they communicate with him? I'm not sure Darios speaks caw.

Not one scene where someone had to put down a friend. Disappointed by that. The odds were good that it would happen.
