Scored a penalty in a 1-0 win against Brighton

Played and scored away to Brighton. Even got 3 bonus!

So we have now narrowed down what Salah must do to get bonus.

Travel away before the game. Make us question captain him and voila 3 bonus.

I do fear a 60th min sub though as I would expect them to be 2-3 up by that stage just a matter of he score them :pac:

Leicester away, Chelsea away, Everton at home (all in first half of season) and Man Utd away are the only 4 games of the 34 he has started that Salah hasn't got at least 80 minutes. Hes only got less than 70 minutes once (Leicester)

Players being rested is so that, when this part of the season comes, they have energy in the tank and can play every match.

Is KdB and Eriksen for Babel and Salah (c) for -4 completely mental when I already have Mane?

dumb question but why the focus on getting rid of city players. is there a gameweek coming up when they have a blank?
there's no cup fixtures left, so im not sure why this would be the case?

I imagine it's certain City players like KDB and Sane that are being got rid of. Sterling and Aguero are being bought. Quite a lot of people don't have 3 Liverpool players that focused on the double gameweek so have to fund it somehow.

    you're overthinking that Salah thing.

he's a multi-millionaire professional footballer, playing for a huge club, a club that will provide the most luxurious travel imaginable back from NYC.

there is no hope that they are risking 3 points by having Salah in poor condition. his travel will be beyond anything we've ever experienced, and I suspect he won't even feel jetlag. there is no way Liverpool would allow him to do the TIME thing if they thought he'd be negatively affected for Friday.

I'd be absolutely astonished if he doesn't start on Friday.

Seen another photo of Gini W off on a city break with Memphis Depay! Clearly Klopp has given them time off

Yeah a skin full of pints before he gets on the plane and he will sleep like a log, works for me.

There's only one Liverpool midfield option worth considering this week, as both a transfer in and captain!

*dusts off old folder of Prodston memes*

    The Henderbus! :D

Need to get Sterling, he's in too many teams around me. Don't know if it's worth a hit this week though.

I'm thinking of getting Rid of Sterling for TC Salah.

I would be very reluctant to get rid of sterling. He got an assist tonight and could have had a goal in first half.

He will play all games bar injury and is playing almost as a striker.

I am tempted to go salah and son to mane and sterling after next game week for no hit.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,589 ✭✭✭patmac

No Liverpool and too much Arsenal, thinking PEA, Kola to Firmino, VVD for - 4 or even PEA, Kola, Leno and Pogba, to Firmino, TAA, Mane and Guita have exact money.

Yeah my other option is to get rid of Son for a -4 but I need to downgrade a player elsewhere to do it. I’ll probably do Doherty to Peltier or Kelly as I already have Boly.

Lacazette to Firmino done. Would have held Laca and got on the Henderbus or the Milnermobile if Arsenal didn't look so poor at the moment.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,815 ✭✭✭bantee

Torn between Rashford or Jimi to Firmino. Rashford could nick something home to Chelsea, whereas I already have Doherty & Jota away to Watford. 3 Wolves could be overkill and I also have Gerry D playing in that game too.

Have 0.4m ITB. Already have triple Liverpool. Can either bank by think I need a defender.

    Foster (Ryan)

    Robertson Duffy Bednarek (Montoya, Bednarek)

Dont fancy going through the double/triple Brighton again, Southampton can’t keep clean sheets and Digne is injured. Would love to get Laporte but no funds.

Any suggestion for someone for remaining 3 weeks?

I did this what does everyone think of him being in new york Tuesday will he be rested?

    Pogba out.
    Son in

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,553 ✭✭✭✭Dempsey

Thinking Eriksen & Rashford out for a -4

Dont have any Liverpool players at the moment and Salah is out of budget unless I do a -8 or sell Sterling/Aguero/Son which is a step backwards. Would have liked to TC Salah but I cant now

The question is, Mane or Firmino and whether they are worth the TC?

    Anyone keeping hazard ?
Thinking of getting rid to bring in son

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,427 ✭✭✭Shedite27

First world problem coming out of Bench Boost week, have a strong 15 so a lot of benching dilemmas this week.

GK: Playing Ederson (bur) over Foster (WOL). Usually play the home keeper but Watford haven't kept a CS in 10 weeks - easy decision really

Pick themselves: VVD, TAA, Sterling, Son, Mane, Aguero, Jota, Jimenez.

Then need to play 2 of:
    Yoshida (BOU)
    Doherty (wat)
    Kolasinac (lei)
    Brooks (sou)
    Wilson (sou)

Currently thinking the bolded, with Doherty first sub for if/when TAA gets rested

Or I could get firmino and have a 6.4 mid?

    Jimenez and Son - OUT
    Firmino and Milivojevic - IN

Have no Liverpool.Thinking of Eriksen (dont reckon he starts) and Aguero (lets be honest, he isn't getting the points) to Salah and Firmino for -4.

If you are taking a point hit no way would I do this.

Wolves will want revenge on Watford for the fa cup. Son can't play against Ajax first leg so will be flogged for 90 mins.

Understand forming but Milo has Everton who have been playing well recently.

You not got other pressing matters

Already done....Forgot Son was suspended ...doh!
    F*ck it anyway...too late now!! :p

Gone off Jimmy - he's done nothing for five games, and have Jota in midfield for wolves coverage. Getting Milo in for the long haul - the last 3 games. Havent had him all season and evey time i said i'll get him in, and dont, he goes off and racks up the points. (so obviously watch him blank for the next 3 now!!:p)

Will probably pull the trigger on KDB to Siggy and Gray to Firmino for a hit.

The original plan was Vardy to Firmino but KDB's injury and the never-ending party means that an alternative move is needed

In the running for the golden boot emery can't afford to rest him at this stage arsenal well capable of scoring goals and fixtures look nice. Obviously injury news could change everything but I'd like him. Think arsenal have a higher ceiling for goals in the last 3

Vardy's last three fixtures are a bit stinky. Arsenal, Man City and Chelsea.

He is a doubt for Sunday
2 of their 3 games are away
    To leictser and Burnley
    Their away form is stink
Their home game is either side of Europa semi I think
Emery has rested him plenty when they still needed wins
    Wouldn’t touch him
So many better and cheaper options

Who will be dropped to let him start the last 3 games ?
Are you happy if he only plays 20/30 minutes of each ?

That should help answer your question .......

If Fernaninho is out (and scan due on his knee) noone might need to be dropped.

Guess there are a bit too much unknowns with him.

Hard to see a KDB replacement that doesn't involve a minus 4

Milo is the 8th highest scoring mid in the game
Has 3 nice fixtures 2 of which are at home
And leaves you lots of cash to spend over last 2 gameweeks
If I had an extra FT he would be in my team this week
But I don’t so I am going to live vicariously through those sensible enough to get him and his consistent never ending set piece points

Have a 56 point gap to make up in a league worth €50 quid if I can finish above my buddy. I’ve got TC left he has nothing left. His squad is
    Pickford
    Robertson TAA Chilwell
    Mane Hazard William JWP
    Rondon Vardy Zaha

    Norris Bacuna Simpson Kelly

    Mine is
    Foster
    Laporte Coady Duffy
    Eriksen Son Sterling Jota
    Jiminez Kun Rashford

    Ryan Robertson Redmond Valere

Was always planning to have a pool TC this week but Mane seems pointless when he will captain him this week I’d say

I think I’ll move Eriksen and Rashford on but if I go for Salah I’ll only have 4.5 to spend on a cf. I could go for Firmino and then I’d have 8.4 for a midfielder

Looking for advice lads here as this is the only league I’m in contention in with a prize worth talking about. Would ye go for completely mad punts or how would ye play my situation?

    Bench Rashford for Robertson /Redmond

Take out Kun & Eriksen and bring in Firmino & Salah. TC Salah

    Or

Start Robertson & Bench the 4.5m attacker
