Yeah. Playing Shannon and Terenure last two games was never going to be easy but looking a lot harder now for YM

That’s a good initiative to stream and provide commentary, the ladies game seems to get decent viewership figures too.

Shannon pretty much doomed to 9th or 10th at this stage. Con have first sewn up now though so they might rest a lot of players against them last day of the season. Nure have to get something from Castle Avenue now to try and push for 8th, and hope UCD do them a favour against UCC on the last day. If Nure win in Tarf, it'll really shake up the bottom end of the table, and 6-10th will be all going hell for leather on the last day to avoid 9th & 10th.

Rumours flying around Limerick re Garryowen and their supposed tactics tomorrow in AIL. Uncontested scrums early and Lansdowne backed heavily in the bookies. Hopefully they don’t disrespect the league but they do have form re this sort of thing so will be interesting if true or just silly rumours but plenty of people talking about it

    Why would Garryowen do that?

Sounds like match fixing to me.

    Lansdowne 54-26 Garryowen
    Clontarf 15-16 Terenure College

DUFC v Garryowen - now a dead rubber, disappointing to have top 4 sewn up already but DUFC doing very well this season.

LFC v Tarf - Huge amount riding on this, but hard to look past an LFC victory on the back pitch which will then be the same fixture in the semi final.

Shannon v Con - Shannon have to win to stay up, anything else and they'll yoyo back down to 1B. Con already sewn up first place.

Terenure v YM - Terenure have to win to absolutely guarantee staying up and completing the great escape. A point may be enough if UCC get nothing from UCD's visit to Mardyke. YM still have to be careful about other results.

UCC v UCD - Huge game. UCD in a better position but still not out of the woods yet. A losing bp or try bp may be enough to keep them up, but again, other results will dictate. UCC need to win too, as a likely Terenure victory would push them to 9th place and a playoff.

Looks like Enniscorthy are coming up to the senior ranks. Absolutely blew away Clonmel today. Hard to look past them now

Not much point talking about 1A as fellasfellas has done it for me..

Buccs will be in 1B/2A relegation playoffs.
Wesley, Naas and Malone all currently in promotion playoffs and all 3 have home games next weekend
Ballynahinch are top and host Marys who're in 5th on points difference.
Every game with at least one side with something to play for

Highfield promoted and bottom decided after todays result in stradbrook with Nenaghs win confirming Blackrocks place in 2A/2B playoffs with wegians already down to 2B
Cashel in 2nd but could be caught by Navan but thats unlikely as Denis Leamys side have a Dolphin side with nothing to play for in Musgrave Park next weekend. If Dolphin were to win Navan need to beat Nenagh. Queens will be 4th and play Buccs in playoffs unless they get a bonus point win and Navan were to lose and not get a bonus point.

Only the relegation playoff spot is still to be decided in 2B. Barnhall first, Greystones 2nd, Rainey 3rd, Sligo 4th
Well are relegated to 2C. Corinthians currently in 9th on points difference to Dungannon but there is only 3 points separating 5th to 9th means lot of big games next weekend. Interestingly in next weeks games 6th placed Belfast Harlequins on 33points host Corinthians on 32 points and 7th place Skerries are at home to 8th place Dungannon while Wanderers travel to Greystones

Didn’t hear but seems like just rumours at the Limerick derby on Friday Night where Garryowen weren’t getting much love.

It will be easter weekend - always follows on immediately from last game of season

“It will be easter weekend - always follows on immediately from last game of season”

Thanks.....and will the final playoff games happen the following weekend? That would 4 weeks in a row that some teams would play.

Big win for Clontarf, considering everyone had Lansdowne as the favourites.
