Ball rolling out of the ruck a minute ago and Mata grabs the ball on the ground and brings it back in. That is surely playing the ball on the ground right?

Second rows should not be offloading in their own 22.

Idiotic from kleyn after scannell did so well

    Brilliant initial strip by scannell

Not since the first kick off

As annoyed as I am with the poor officiating (missed knock ons and forward passes) Munster have shot themselves in the foot with their style of attacking play.

We are so 1 dimensional and other than a lucky break off a kick we haven't created anything in attack.

    Poor from murray

  • Registered Users Posts: 204 ✭✭griffinlee

what type of kick was that ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,829 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    So..

What was Murray's plan with that kick?

Another poor game from Murray .

Bring on Mathewson. That was woeful from Murray. 40mins on the clock and an aimless hoof into the 22. Jesus.

    Continuing his poor Ireland form.

What was Murray doing? That was utterly brain dead

Biggest contribution so far was missing a tackle

Murray continuing his 6N form, really should have started Mathewson today.

They're poorly coached. So much quality in the backs but no idea how to use them effectively.

What on earth was that from Murray?

By right Munster try should not have stood. Murray took a player out off the ball.

That was an entertaining first half. Two very evenly matched side going at it.

Stuart McInally's been the best player in the pitch.

Murray is killing Munster. Kicking everything away. Munster have no possession as a result and are constantly on the back foot. Either a change of tactics are needed or a change of scrum half as only one winner at present and that's Edinburgh.

Too one dimensional in attack, box kick after box kick is too easy to predict

No idea. I actually don't know what he was trying to achieve.

I can see the logic in having Carbery fielding kicks from deep with his counter attacking but I can't think of another 10 who ends up under so many contestable box kicks. It doesn't make sense putting your 10 in those high risk aerial collisions, then having him stuck at the bottom of a ruck if the ball comes back quickly with the opposition defence disjointed.

Yeah Murray and Kleyn the biggest disappointments for me in that first half.
Edinburgh far from unbeatable though. Mathewson should be in for 2nd half but I assume it won't be until 65 minutes at the earliest.
Would love to see a ballsey substitution made for once.
