What on earth was that from Murray?

Same tactic that led to the Munster try but too deep and poorly executed.

By right Munster try should not have stood. Murray took a player out off the ball.

Did it have an effect though, Pyrgos wouldn't have been able to tackle Earls anyway.

Video there of JVG explaining the tactics.....kicking tennis

Farrell out shining O'Mahony in the back row.

And that player should have been yellow carded for a cynical deliberate knock on in the 22. Would have suited Munster better.

It's foul play. Supercedes everything else.

Forty minutes on the clock though.

Horrid stuff. No point in the backs being on the pitch. Murray better be benched for the second half.

Doesn't matter. It was off the ball. You can't just flip a player over because he infringed.
The ref should have reversed the penalty, and the try shouldnt have stood.

Bring on Mathewson. That was woeful from Murray. 40mins on the clock and an aimless hoof into the 22. Jesus.

    Continuing his poor Ireland form.

    Clearly a tactic, coach driven...
If that’s what’s he’s told to do then he’s just following orders
Poor missed tackle on the line though
    O’Mahony more of a passenger imo...done nothin
    Forgot he was playing

Ffs. Woeful kick off and then that.

Beirne making up for the knock on with a decent block down.

Happens all the time, never penalised and had no bearing on the outcome. I think it was fair enough.

That's a poor call. Mata hit on shoulder

No arms in any case so doesn't matter where he hit.

    Murray's kicking has been diabolical.

    But that's not the rules.
And just because you think so, doesn't mean you're correct.

    Edinburgh streets ahead

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,199 ✭✭✭troyzer

Edinburgh look so much more dynamic and are winning the forward battle as well.

Munster's attack (when they can get the ball) looks so blunt and laboured. Same problem they've had all season.
