Looks like they’re going to fast track people from the 1810 campaign by the sounds of the update on their website

Yeah I agree. This also says that people in 1710 will still be progressed! 😁

They must have looked at remaining candidates and figured that they are down to enough people in 1710 (exhausted the list) that they can start fast tracking 1810 now. Hopefully that's the case and that everyone in 1710 gets their call.

Sounds promising!! And also maybe they'll get a move on with remaining vettings outstanding for those who haven't got it yet if they're ready to fast track 1810!!

Usually two days of calls. Last month they rang Monday and Wednesday. So this month could be Tuesday and Thursday. Fingers crossed!

And how long is it between calls? I've heard different time scales between 4 & 6 weeks? If there are calls tomorrow has anyone any idea of what number they may get to? Even an estimate from times previous?

It's a good sign too that they have posted an update on their site but haven't changed the pie chart for 1710 yet as it signals that they mightnt be finished issuing calls? If you get what I mean lol

AFAIK there is no classes in July/August

Hi guys,

Firstly, congratulations to all who have had their call today. Super exciting. I'd pretty much given up on them getting to my number but yesterday's update on their page suggests to me that they could scrub our list. I've all managed stages complete. Is that what you guys are taking from it?

Sure they have stated that they will continue to progress and appoint from the 1710 campaign aswell as progressing the highest scorers from the 1810 campaign aswell. Be at least August before any of them are appointable.

Have faith and stay positive.

I should be in the May squad but missing out because of vetting.

If you are appointable the chances of being dropped are very slim imo

I don't think they would waste time and money if they were just Gona drop you

I totally agree. Even not being appointable as of yet, you still have a very high chance of getting in.

Its just horrible waiting but what can you do.

I had a friend in 15/10 and she only just passed out in November.

There were major delays in the 1509 campaign because of the cheating scandal that happened.

Which worked out well for all applicants of 1509 as they exhausted the list and didnt do a campaign im 2016.

They had never exhausted lists before but id say they will exhaust 1710.

No, they use the term passing out when you successfully complete your 6 Month training at the college

Plus going by they need as many bodies as possible, it's doesn't make sense to cut the 1710 list

The wait is horrible. You go through a rollercoaster of emotions. Deloitte and PSNI have been nothing but professional, helpful and the updates have been great along the way.

I don’t have any inside info but they seem to be ploughing through the list. There is only just around 850 on the list because of failures and withdrawals. I think they will exhaust the 1710 list, probably by August, with some from the 1810 crew.

Hope you are all not waiting too long

Congrats to all who got the call. Well done to you all. It may well be worth the wait this job but the wait is more stressful than anything done in the process! Considering they are 200 above me in the ML now I cannot fathom what is taking my vetting so long to come back. There must be something I am not aware of in my 30 years on this earth that is slowing it down. Madness

Hi folks, been following this thread for a while but never posted. I've seen som people saying their vetting is holding up their application but how would you know if you're vetting is cleared? I assumed it was something that happened in the background and you wouldn't hear anything about it unless there was a problem - but do we get an email once the vettings cleared? I've passed all other stages and have fingers crossed for a call soon!

Long time lurker , needing advice.
Merit list between 730-50 all stages passed.
Hopeful for the next set of calls in April but on holiday with no phone signal for the week they are possibly due.
Do I Email/phone recruitment and advise them of this and state I would accept it if I offered.

I would definitely phone recruitment and confirm something, only they will be able to tell you
