    That's a cop out.

You made a remark about 'getting felt up by a gay lad' as if that a)happens frequently, b) justifies homophobia.

Well matey, women get 'felt up' by straight lads quite often so how about you clarify why that doesn't 'justify' the man-hating that feminists are just as frequently accused of...

No body has the right to 'feel' anybody up unless they have permission.

I am glad that you feel LGBT human rights are merely dismissable as a fashion. It really shows your disdain.

I have no idea why you feel the need to bring sexual abuse into the discussion at all.

Do you think it is acceptable to try and suggest that all LGBT people are child abusers?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

This is just one of the consequences of the dangerous BS GO'D is promulgating:
A New York suburb has banned children not vaccinated against measles from public spaces, such as schools and shopping malls, as it fights the state's worst outbreak in decades of the potentially deadly disease.

Rockland County declared a state of emergency on Tuesday and said the ban would remain in place for 30 days or until unvaccinated children get the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) shot.

The Rockland announcement follows measles outbreaks in California, Illinois, Texas and Washington and is part of a global resurgence of the viral infection, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

"We will not sit idly by while children in our community are at risk," County Executive Ed Day said in a statement. "This is a public health crisis, and it is time to sound the alarm."

There have been 153 confirmed cases of measles in Rockland County, about 11 miles (18 km) north of Manhattan, mostly among children who have not been vaccinated.

"Mostly among children who have not been vaccinated ". So some who were vaccinated also contracted measles.

Firstly - the vaccine is not 100% effective. It is around 97% effective.
Can I get the measles if I've already been vaccinated?

Answer From James M. Steckelberg, M.D.
It's possible, but very unlikely. The combination measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine is a two-dose vaccine series that effectively protects against all three viruses.

In fact, more than 93 percent of people who get the first dose of MMR develop immunity to measles. After the second dose, about 97 percent of people are protected.
    https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/measles/expert-answers/getting-measles-after-vaccination/faq-20125397

Secondly, there is a difference between 'have not been vaccinated' - which suggests a deliberate decision not to have it done and 'cannot be vaccinated' - not everyone can be vaccinated due to other underlying medical conditions. These people have to rely on others not spreading contagious diseases.

According to the BBC many of those who have contracted the disease are Orthodox Jews - leading Rabbis to start a campaign to encourage vaccine uptake.

What has G O' Doherty said about gay people to upset them? I've searched but can't find anything specific.

Catholic schools holding LGBT days for pupils. This is CBS Nenagh. The ‘Christian’ Brothers have quite a record to be fair. Parents who tolerate this only have themselves to blame.
    https://twitter.com/gemmaod1/status/1071509960155193344

She also mentions in the comments

"I have a problem with people who defend paedophiles"
Response "LGBTI people aren't generally known for defending paedophiles..."
    "Donal Og Cusack did"
Response "Also, you should know not to smear an entire group of people due to the actions of one person. Unless you want to be smeared with all the horrible acts that straight white people have carried out throughout time..."

This long video has a long sections on LGBT "brainwashing"

She seems to have a particular dislike of trans people, linking the rise in unicorns...i kid you not...to some sinister transgender agenda.

A must-watch video about how the transgender unicorn symbol is creeping in everywhere. If Irish parents don’t wake up to what is going on, they will pay a high price for their apathy

To be honest I cant be bothered sifting through her train wreck of a twitter for more but I dare say you wont have to look too hard.

The low vaccine uptake also means that there are more children with the disease so everybody gets more exposure to infected children. The more times a vaccinated child is exposed to the disease the higher the chance they will catch the diseases despite their vaccination. Basically the fewer vaccinated children the higher the number of disease vectors.

What has G O' Doherty said about gay people to upset them? I've searched but can't find anything specific.

Gemma is avowedly anti human rights for a start

She has specifically targeted lgbt youth - Her ACI pillars are very clear

She wants to remove anything positive about LGBT people from the Irish education system

She wants to ban International organisations funding LGBTI human rights in Ireland.

She tried to shame CBS Nenagh for its lgbt inclusive education

She attacked the human rights of trans chldren by saying that recocgnising them is twisted

She has made many vile insinuations linking lgbt people to paedophiles

She has a weird conspiracy theory unicorns being a transgender symbol and how any unicorn logo is an evil transgender plot

She regularly interviews well known Homophobe John Waters about LGBT "brainwashing"

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? By drawing on the work of Wilhem Reich, who examined the idea of fascism as a symptom of sexual repression, we are taking the ‘Reicheann approach’ by advocating for the early managed sexualisation of children so as to prevent the formation of any earlier fascist traits"

Guiding the left me hole. Newstalk has always had mostly reactionary right wing old men. Ciara Kelly is probably one of their liberalish voices but in general newstalk isnt a guide for left wing politics at all.

Newstalk is very much a mix.

You’ve relative centrists like Shane Coleman, left-leaning like Shane Cuddihy and Ciara Kelly, very left wing like Moncrieff and the OTB team (OTB in particular get incredibly into social issues for a sports show) and then right wing like Yates and very right wing like Hook.

Anyone labelling the station as very right or very left wing is simply displaying their own deep-seated biases

I initially admired O'Doherty for her sterling work on the Mary Boyle case but she has relentlessly tried to politicise it by talking up a tangential issue of alleged interference in the investigation by FF Cllr Seán McEntee. She was incredibly cynical in waiting until he was dead and then naming him (on social media). The old cliché that you can't libel the dead came to mind. It seems I may have been wrong.

Funny thing about this, found out the origins of the claim.... Firstly, I'm betting you sourced the claim from a white supremacist site as that is where it seems to be quoted all the time. It wasn't deleted because of scandal arising, it simply was a hoax, most likely by white supremacists.

So the big question is, what sort of sites are you browsing?

**** STATEMENT REGARDING REMOVAL OF RECENT ARTICLE ****
In recent weeks we published an article titled ‘’No Pasaran! An Interview with the Irish Antifa”. The aim of this interview was to get some insights into the Irish Antifa movement, as well as the current state of far-right activity in Ireland. It was conducted via the ‘alleged’ Anti Fascist Action Ireland (AFA Ireland) Twitter account by one of our writers. The writer had every reason to believe this was the legitimate AFA Ireland Twitter account based on previous activity of the account, and also the retweets and likes which it received. The writer appreciated the sensitivity of the interview, and allowed the interviewee to review the final draft before it was made public.
12 days after the interview was published on our site, we received an e-mail from AFA Ireland. They informed us that they have never had a Twitter account, and that the interview was not given by a representative of AFA Ireland. The Irish Anti-Racist Network and other sources also confirmed that AFA Ireland have never had a Twitter account, and that the AFA Ireland Facebook page is their official online representation. It further transpired that one of the names the interviewee referenced in the interview, ‘Sammy De Hyde’, is an internet hoax name which anonymous trolls occasionally use. Unfortunately the writer was unaware of this at the time of publication.
We immediately removed the article after receiving the e-mail from AFA Ireland, and it has not been republished since.
AFA Ireland fully trust and accept that we did not attempt to publish a false story, and were completely misled by what seemed to be an official Twitter account.
Since HamburgersnHeroin formed in 2015 we have published a number of interviews with a variety of people. This is the first time such an incident has occurred, and we are treating it as a valuable lesson for the future. We look forward to talking to a diverse range of persons and groups in the future, and to continue providing interesting perspectives.
