Jesse Lund - VP of IBM Blockchain and World Wire.

“We’ve got a launch announcement coming out soon … let’s just say we’re gonna be supporting more than 50 countries out of the gate, 30-40 currencies, and enough market makers to drag along 30 or 40 banks, so we’ll have a significant portion of the world covered and our goal is to continue to expand that network and to provide global coverage within 3-5 years where you can actually send remittances in a consistent way, immediately, at a very low cost, from anywhere in the world to anywhere in the world. "

I've still got mine in the original Wallet thing. Should I move them out so I can sell & if so, where to?

No idea.So many tech scammers out there if you let your guard down you'll end up with your wallet empty.Sit tight and let them grow.

Not considered a great time to sell (the bottom dregs of a bear market). All time high was $0.92, currently trading at $0.09. However if you are determined to sell, then open an account at Binance, transfer and sell them there for Eth or BTC. Then move the Eth/BTC to a fiat exchange (like Coinbase) and sell for cash.

Just my opinion, I hold many different coins by this stage, and I see Stellar as one of the better projects considering their partnerships, tech, team, potential and positioning. They are currently the 8th largest crypto by market cap. That said, like any crypto, they could go to zero

The whole lot looks to be complete nonsense. I'd say get out at 0.09 before it goes lower. It's been on a downwards trend for over a year at this point and there's absolutely nothing I can see that put's this "coin" ahead of any other.

It's crypto, there is little or no rationality to it. It went on a downward trend for 3 years at one point, then went up hundreds and thousands of percent over a period of 10 months. So yeah, it could all die, or on the other hand, human psychology doesn't change much and people could start piling in at some point in the future

Highly highly unlikely, there were a lot of people burned badly and the bad news about this stuff keeps on coming.

Your opinion. Heard many of these "opinions" in 2014. They turned out be wrong, and even during this bear many coins, inc. BTC are significantly higher than 2014/15/16

The past is no indicator of the future, but reading the BTC thread from 2011 and the similarity in "bear"/"it's all dead" comments is interesting

Not sure where you're sourcing your info but week on week there has been plenty of positive news.

I finally moved mine to Kraken with the intention of selling if they got back up to 20c or so, but they've continued to drift downwards.

The longer things go on without Crypto making any real-world impact (and I don't think it ever will), the less likely it is to go back up, but at this stage they're worth so little I might as well wait and see. It's no loss if they go to zero.

If they don't matter, I'd leave them there for a few years. Could become worthless or could end up being worth a decent amount. Even during this nasty bear market BTC is currently $4,000 - it was around $500 3 years ago

Ethereum is "struggling" and down 85% from peak but it's up 1,500% on this time 2 years ago

Perhaps crypto is "dead", but have repeatedly heard this for the last 5 years, all the while it keeps climbing to higher and higher values in between steep rises and steep crashes (and of course some **** coins completely die along the way)

Thankfully I stayed away from all those dodgy coins and invested it in OneCoin. The good times are set to start... any day now...

Now listed on Coinbase. I know that doesn't carry the same weight it did a year ago but it's still good news.

More good news to come over the next few days too with some major announcements lined up apparently.

IBM payment system should be near now. Uses the Stellar network. This could be the one thing that absolutely puts stellar ahead of the rest

Here's a link to why its good for Stellar Lumens (That Banker again!)
    Go Stellar

This is a big deal, the market has yet to catch on how significant this is. Think of all the money middlemen that are going to be wiped out over the next few years as IBM starts to integrate their software into payment systems from big banks to your local shop till

Similar points made in this video but shorter and more to the point.

    My personal highlight:

    Q. Are you working with Central Banks?
    A. Yes we are :D

I think I've somehow lost my original 1,100 lumens.

Went to try to figure out how to transfer them into coinbase. Logged into the old account & had to upgrade, got the following message:

    Upgraded!
You had 1100.999975 lumens in the old network.
To access your account, go to the account viewer. <-- Clickable

Went to the account viewer & the message is:
    Your balance:
    0 lumens
This account is currently inactive. To activate it, send at least 1 lumen (XLM) to the Stellar public key displayed above.

So I guess they're somehow gone or am I doing something wrong?

Is this the first time you have signed into the portal since receiving them?

Had a similar issue when I first signed into the account. Do you have your keys? And secure password saved?
