How Homeland came back from the brink is incredible. Seasons 3 to 5 were pretty poor, but it got so much better in 6 and the last two seasons were exceptional. Rare to see a show pull out of a tailspin like that.

Think I gave up after/during Season 3. Can you skip straight to 6?

Enjoyed Triple Frontier a very decent heist film.

Watched it today after seeing the advert on Sky last night - really enjoyed it.

I thought it was a bit underwhelming how if they fell off they got to start again at that point instead of starting over. I mean surely you would want to climb it straight from bottom to top without falling off. I really enjoyed it though.

Ah now , how could you manage to scale it one go ? Unless you were Spiderman :p

Season 3 was very poor no question but I totally disagree about 4 & 5 which were mostly excellent on a new story arc

Quality has dropped again for 6 & 7, plot holes going through the roof but still watchable TV, season 8 being the last is right call hope they finish it off on a high

I have a soft spot for homeland, while it's by no means the greatest TV show on earth it's easy to watch and is usually very entertaining with little filler IMO, especially compared to other shows.

Was looking forward to watching Triple Frontier and I thought it was great for about an hour but sadly it went fairly pear shaped after that.

I never got around to finishing it, but what I saw was very strong. Errol Morris is naturally an extraordinary filmmaker, and he’s experimenting with form here in some interesting ways. It’s not a straightforward show, I’ll put it that way, but it’s pretty fascinating and something admirably different to your typical Netflix documentary.

Jesus I won't be leaving the house this weekend. Yikes.

Haven't seen the Princess Bride for a long long time. Looking forward to that. :)

Really great series IMO. Both the documentary parts with the son and the dramatised pieces with Peter Sarsgaard are really well done. Like you say it's not straightforward, it meanders along and loops back around itself but that suits the subject matter and the tone. Maybe not for everyone but you'll know quickly enough if it's your kind of thing.

I'm the opposite, not sure why people are still obsessed with this case. Reviews are terrible, no involvement of her parents and they asked all friends not to take part, seems like there is absolutely nothing new in it. Crude attempt to cash in on the popularity of this no doubt.

Wonder if the Madeline McCann doc becomes the next making a murderer. Seems very possible giventhe high profile the case.

Biggest bugbear for me is how someone with such serious mental issues is allowed anywhere near the decision-making. It hasn't stopped me watching it but does irritate a lot at times!

I suppose it’s all biased towards the McCanns cause if it wasn’t, they’d probably sue Netflix.
