I didn't enjoy that at all

That was bloody awful. Robert seems a weak choreographer.

That was stunning from Johnny and Emily!

I'd say Emily must be delighted to be paired with someone with such ability and that she gets to dance to the standard that she's accustomed to.
Johnny could easily have a career as a dancer, he's stunning to watch.
Best contestant ever on Irish version I think.

To thine own self be true

I'm not a Johnny fan nor know much about dance moves but I loved their dance tonight! Will look at it again..

Guess they've decided they want Johnny to win now.
Criticizing cliona for choreography that she can't control.....

Johnny is the best dancer in the competition. Hope he wins. He's amazing.

That was fantabulously fantastic!! :):):) Not enough words in my vocabulary to describe how brilliant that dance was!! :) Johnny definitely deserves to win. It will be a travesty if he does not!!

I would've preferred Cliona and Robert's dance if they'd stayed with the strings throughout the dance - like Brian said, they kind of might as well have, because they kept with that style of dance throughout anyway.
I also feel that Robert should pull back slightly when they're supposed to be mirroring each other - when he performs every move at his highest ability and top speed, Cliona, despite being an excellent amateur dancer, obviously can't quite keep up.
He's too focused on giving a perfect performance himself, when there needs to be a balance of showcasing his celeb partner to her best potential.

I hadn't seen that one when I posted. Whatever the angle was you could only see the UK one.

Thought Clelias waltz was very bland

But sure what's the point in the competition when it was obvious from day 1 that he has a very strong background in dance already. Same with Jake Carter last year. There is no fairness in that if we are calling this a competition.

It was so popular that year.
We sang it at a school play when I was about 12 and I felt so grown up and everything felt so prosperous.
I remember my siblibgs were 21ish and I remember thinking It would be ages until I'll be that old now I dont know where the time went.

2003 was a good time in Ireland. The Celtic Tiger madness hadn’t completely arrived, which was then to be followed by the **** hitting the fan. As you said, everything felt positive and prosperous

    Fierce boring.
Kind of reminded me of old people waltzing at a wedding.
I mean, it was technically good, but a total snore to watch.

    Euphoria is a banger!
That was a real crowd-pleaser of a Paso in fairness - she did really, really well.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 204 ✭✭Ryaner179

That wasn't great from Mairead very bad posture and shaping, will be overmarked rte want her in the final

It would be a bit like entering Aidan O'Mohaney and Julian Benson in a penalties competition!
