Anyone commuting from Donabate/Swords etc... to Dublin city centre?

Hi folks

Moving to Donabate this summer. I don't fancy the train based on what I've read on how packed they are. I've to do the creche run so can't get an earlier train that might be less busy so thinking I'll try to cycle commute to the city centre. Maybe half the time for a while and see how it goes.

Anyone cycling this route every day? Main concern is safety of course. I have only cycled out that way a few times but not at rush hour.

Any advice would be appreciated.
