Started into Suburra, about 4 episodes in, and watched the film first(a little sorry I didn't leave that til last, even though it was out 2 years before the series). It's really good. I don't think it's gonna surpass Gomorrah, but it's like a slightly better Love/Hate which ain't bad at all.

    is Narcos Mexico any good?

finished with Pablo and Cali but wondering is this gonna be a let down now?

Finished it last not, agree on the Gomorrah part,it's still quite a good show with some great characters..

    Loved the movie too

    It's excellent.

    I much preferred seasons 1, 2 and 3.
Thought Mexico season lacked a bit in that it didn’t have the impressive city settings that was in the Colombia seasons. Also it didn’t have as nasty and charismatic villains as was in the other seasons.
I still enjoyed it though and actually watched the entire season of it on its release date.

    It's very good.

The problem is that most people have seen Narcos already and automatically see the Mexico version in a poorer light as a result. But it's definitely worth a watch.

    Mr Sunshine ( Korean drama)
Fascinating . Set in 20th century,Korea; there is a mix of Japanese, Korean, western characters. Exquisite attention to detail. Very beautifully shot. Interesting plots and unique Love story. Quirky humour at times even among the most Machiavellian characters. The characters are entertaining with interesting and philosophical dialogue.
Reminds me a little of 'deadwood' which I Loved.

Just watched Senna. Has been available for a good while, finally got around to watching it.

Excellent documentary. Set at a nice level for someone like me who has a basic enough knowledge of F1. Incredibly interesting.

    He was a remarkable character.

There is a TV3 series called Jack Taylor on Netflix was going to give it whirl but the ridiculous Oirish accent from the Scottish actor is woeful and a cringey dialogue. It was off within 30 seconds. Can't make good TV in this country. Anyone seen it?

    I am actually enjoying this.
But then again, i am not Irish so wouldnt be able to point out the wrongness of someones "Irish" accent.

I do get what you mean though. There was a cop show on Dutch tv that happened to be in Rotterdam where i lived all my life. Actors from all over the country trying to do a Rotterdam accent...... please dont.

Watched all of it and enjoyed it. Good family vibe to it and not too cheesy. I thought it was a teeny bit unbalanced and stretched some of the plotlines. Decent cast, especially the kids. Mr Baldwin is a bit dour and has quite limited expressions! One can see a second season coming out of it.

This is a bit mixed but watchable. Saw it on BBC at the time.

It's difficult trying to acclimatise to it, but I guess in the end of the first episode where there is the
    incident in the hotel
is where you start to think that it could go somewhere.

    And then the
    crossovers
    are an excellent addition.

I liked it. Watched all 3 seasons in about 3 weeks. It's not always laughs all the way but the comedy is solid, as are the other elements.

Really enjoying "losers" atm it's about athletes who have turned the agony of defeat into personal triumbh

    Finished Umbrella Academy.
Really clever and sharp looking show.
Excellent soundtrack too. Colourful and fun with enough twists to be quirky and loyal to the graphic novel stylisation.

Robert Sheehan really steals the show.

    Well worth a look.
