    I'm just home. Drove down to see the daddy. Feeling awful maudlin tonight. He rang me earlier and asked if I was finished college. No Daddy I was in work. Sigh. We were having a chat a few nights ago and he said his mind isn't great "but sure as long as I can get up in the morning and go about my day and visit your mammy there's not a bother on me".
    He's some man. I remember I used to think that if anything ever happened to mam I would be finished, couldn't go on. You do though. I remind myself of that now when I see him being doddery. It will all be ok.
