It depends if the academy players are deemed ready to step up to be #4 in the pecking order. I'd rather let Bleyendaal go.

Just a reminder Thomond, you wanted to let Billy Holland go as well!

I'd keep Bleyendaal. I wouldn't want Munster to lose that kind of experience with so many young 10s.

What 10s do you want to lose then?
We'll have plenty of games during world cup for guys to build experience and with Carbery in 6 nations squad next year

Kings. Should ideally see some from national squad released to play

I'd hang onto them all and getting them toplay loads of AIL. The AIL worked well for Johnny Holland and Joe Carbery.

You just never know with young players - look how Johnny Holland had to retire.

With a break in 6 Nations action this weekend, a number of Munster’s international contingent are training with the province this week and could see game-time at Irish Independent Park on Friday night.

The Munster Rugby Medical Department have released the following injury update ahead of Friday night’s game.

Jack O’Donoghue (knee) has returned to squad training and will look to return to play over the coming weeks.

JJ Hanrahan (hip) returned to squad training last week.

Andrew Conway has returned to full training with the province after presenting with some calf tightness on international duty.

CJ Stander is rehabbing a facial injury at the province.

Sammy Arnold will be unavailable for selection over the next few weeks due to a hairline fracture of his fibula.

Tommy O’Donnell (AC Joint) underwent surgery last week and has commenced his rehabilitation programme with the medical department.

The following are progressing with rehabilitation: Brian Scott (foot), James Cronin (leg), Tadhg Beirne (knee), Dave O’Callaghan (foot), Tommy O’Donnell (shoulder), CJ Stander (face), Sammy Arnold (leg).

    https://munsterrugby.ie/2019/02/11/squad-update-pre-southern-kings/

    Possible team:

    Loughman, Scannell, J Ryan, Kleyn, Holland, Wycherley, Cloete, Botha;
Mathewson, Johnston, Sweetnam, Scannell, Farrell, Conway, Haley

Marshall, LOC, Archer, DOS, Oliver, Williams, Hanrahan, Goggin

    Ireland: POM, Stander, Murray, Earls
Injured: Scott, Cronin, Beirne, DOC, JOD, TOD, Stander, Arnold

Bill Johnston was at the press conference today so he should be starting. Shoulder surgery for TOD probably rules him out of the season. Just horrible luck. Farrell is back training with Munster, since he only played vs Scotland he could feature for Munster.

The Kings have conceded 32 points on average this season in the Pro14. Anything less than a comfortable TBP win for Munster would be a surprise.

You would be far better losing some of them and putting money to better use elsewhere.
And all players are involved in AIL....

And all players are involved in AIL....

No they're not - any of top tier players in the 4 provinces don't play AIL unless they're returning from along term injury and they can game time at an AIL game otherwise they're nominally attached to a club and never feature for the club.

I meant the second tier guys.
I thought it would be very obvious that top contracted players dont play club rugby
I know full well that players are nominally attached to clubs and rarely feature for that club bar exceptional circumstances

    Latest injury update.
JJ and JOD are back in training.
    Conway is back in training.
TOD had an operation to repair his AC joint.
Sammy Arnold has a hairline fracture of the fibula.
    Beirne is still rehabbing.

The AC joint is in the shoulder. The ACL is in the knee.

    Complete misread!
I was wondering what the hell happened since he went off with the shoulder injury!

Good news for JJ , JOD and Conway. Hopefully Arnold and TOD not out for too long.

Need Baby Scans to switch to prop! If we can convince Rory to bulk up, we could have a front row full of them

Or get Rory to drop the 1 from his 12. Then they can start 1, bench 1 and have 1 in reserve. Always have a scannell at 2. Think of the savings to be made by bulk ordering the Jersey with the name on!!

Definitely. Thought Johnston might get nod over TB when he was in front of press during the week.

Wonder what will happen TB contract? Guess Matthewson is finishing up at end of March unless extended.

Might be conditional upon going further in the Heineken cup

I think Tyler will be offered a contract.

I'd love to keep Alby but doubt we'll be allowed to keep him.

Not for next season, but I'd be surprised if he isn't extended until the end of the season.

CJ and Jean Marié are having a baby in August. There's been a lot of Munster babies lately. Bodes well for 2038 or thereabouts!

The referees have been appointed for the HEC quarter finals. Munster get Pascal Gauzere.
