Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

95pts. Aguero (c). Delighted. Rival played free hit and scored 86, so delighted I beat him this week. Nice ground made, with FH, TC and BB still in tact. He tripled up on Everton and had Sane, so lots of things went my way really.

    101! No hits

    88. Aguero(c) was an anticlimax tonight after the excitement of Sunday. Benched Jiminez and started Ricky, which once again highlights the perils of favouring an out of form dgwker over an in form player with a single game.

    50.

My 2 DGW players were Sane(c) and Danilo who got 59 minutes between them.
If it makes you feel any better, you got more points than I did.

84(-4). Bit disappointing considering I captained Aguero, small green. 5280 OR though and all chips still in play. FPL is tough.

100 (no hits) Kun captain. My Liverpool lads my only 2 pointers. Left Anderson on bench over Gerry D:rolleyes: Overall HEWT

    113(-4)

I could kiss Pep's shiny head.

Huge week, outscored both my main rivals by 60 points.
They both captained Sane and neither own Aguero.
I TC'ed Aguero and own Sane so had him half blocked.

Delighted with my first ever triple captain return.

I feel sorry for Sane owners on here but not my rivals. It was a coin toss.

Think I'll crawl back under my rock now for a while. The only way is down.

When I had City players, they were crap and Salah was scoring every week
Now I have Salah and double pool defence and no City players and I hate this game.

Finish with 129 points!! Incredible GW. Rising from 193k to around 52k. Can’t believe how well I did on the TC it’s all bout luck. Aguero and Laporte racking up 77 of my points.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,675 ✭✭✭thunderdog

Average score of 65 with Sane TC, sees a drop from 50k to 65k.

70 with no Kun and Sané (c).

Not good. Not utterly season definingly horrendous.

Laporte's haul could prove crucial in the grand scheme of things.

    Just to illustrate this.

Down from 440 to 890 OR.

Only lost 15-20 points on my rivals rather than over 30 thanks to the genius of Laporte, as well as Mané as a differential, despite Sané being a disaster.

    Happy out, considering.

Finished on 93. Nice jump in OR to 121k.

It's probably not that far below the average.

I have Aguero (c), Sane and Sterling and between then I got 50 points.
The other 8 players got me 16 points including Zouma who despite only get 1 yellow card this season, managed to get 2 in last 2 games and concede 5 in 2 games and so end up with 0 points.

I dropped from 140k to 225 k. It is a disaster of a gw no other words for it. Lots of people gained 50 odd points just on city assets. Aguero captain and laporte 58 pts against sane captain and kdb 5 pts. It was the harshest or best gw of the season depending in what side of it you came out on.

    I got 55.

    Dropped from 39k to 67k.

Lucky I captained Rashford instead of Salah, would have stank worse.

Down from 18k to 42k with 48 points.

    Jaysus.

Relatively, easily my worst gameweek in a few years never mind this season!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,718 ✭✭✭Cartman78

57 - not HEWT but could have been a lot worse.

Have miraculously held on to very slender leads in my main money leagues somehow and my OR 'only' fell by about 25K to 57K.

Not bringing in Aguero for Firmino is probably the worst mistake I've ever made playing FPL

If you had sane or sterling I wouldnt be thinking that was a mistake at all.

93 with my free hit, up 157k in the rankings but in reality 74 points from Aguero, Luiz, Hazard and Ederson and 19 from the rest. Not touching Everton players again for the rest of the season!

    I have Sane alright.

Had 2 FTs - tried to be clever and didn't want to 'waste' an FT by doing the Aguero-Aubameyang 1 week swap

    80, small green arrow

Was hoping for more with Aguero C last night, but no point being greedy about it

Richarlison the main let-down, transferred him out now so he will probably score a hat-trick in his next game

Could be worse, saw at least one team with Sane TC !!

Don't think that sort of thing really should be seen as a mistake. For a hit that was marginal at best imo just on the unfortunate side of variance this time round.

I'm similar to you in that I didn't do the Auba to Aguero switch and got burned by it. However Laporte saved my gameweek so at least I can find solace in that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,810 ✭✭✭✭jimmii

I didn't bring in Aguero and went with Ederson over Laporte as I thought it was safer! Would do the same again though. Just the nature of the beast!

78 sees me cut a lot of leads in my leagues but small enough OR to 200K. Keane is gone now thankfully

What a cataclysmic clusterfeic of a week that was. Weeks crawling up the rankings to get smacked back down over 200 k places.

Sane transfer in driving me inSane. My untouched team would have done better by 15 points which is a large % of what I eventually got.

My team also suddenly looks a shambles. Think it is wildcard time.

As Busts said, you can't look at it like that.

if you had Sane or Sterling, then you did absolutely nothing wrong. if you had Aubameyang, a percentage play, if your team was looking ok, was to get Aguero in, and maybe transfer back this week or even next if you fancy him against Chelsea. Firmino was a perfectly sensible guy to have in your team, especially if you had another City attacking asset.

some people ripped their teams apart to get Aguero in. that was a risk potentially worth taking, and it's worked out for them, but that was not a percentage play with blanks and a fúckload of games for the team coming.

they made a play, and it worked. it doesn't mean your play was wrong. a play being wrong and a play not working out are two different things.

in my instance, Sane should easily have played 120 minutes at least in my mind given Pep's much vaunted reliance on the width he gives without Mendy in the team. captaining him was perfectly sensible, yet only got me 1 point. it sucks, but it wasn't the wrong move. i'd probably do it again if i had the same team and information going into the gameweek.

Glad to have come out the right side of pep roulette by captaining Aguero. This gw is a real kick in the teeth for those who made the perfectly reasonable decision to captain Sane.

93 for the week and up to the heady heights of 581 OR, delighted with that ; )

    97

I had 87 points with Salah, Robertson, Aguero(c), Sterling and Ricky to play. Disappointing to only get 10 points from those 5 but still to finish on 97, I gotta be HEWT

95 points this week with captain hazard helping out. delighted with that since i was worried before hand not stocking up on everton and city players

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 22,251 ✭✭✭✭Lemlin

97 points sees me back inside the top 100k for the first time in a long while.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,582 ✭✭✭NoviGlitzko

Had no Aguero, Laporte, or Hazard and had TC (lel) on Sane. Still came out with 67 points so not the worst all things considered. Down several k to 18k. Onto the next GW.
