    strange move to but the Extra Celeb show on THREE, 66000 viewer on 3e last year in Nov down to 33,000 this year. Though the main show is up 66000 viewers from this time last year.

    Should have picked up even for the first week of I'm A Celeb, RTÉ ONE is only up 1% from last year, when TLLTS aired in December. And RTÉ2 only at 5.2% with a historic win for Ireland against NewZealand!!!!

    Overall both companies staying steady.

    What was on in Nov Last year for RTÉ 2 to drop by 20%?

    There was 2 big Republic Of Ireland playoff matches against Denmark in November last year. I guess these would have hit nearly a million for both matches.

    Well that's it for another year. Have a good Christmas and New Year.

    Largely things remained the same, with increases for VMT/TV3 and decreases for RTÉ but no over all gains for Irish TV channels with 55% audience share for English based channels.

    Home and Away gets 115,000 average viewership on RTÉ ONE at 1:30 while the 6:30 gets 69,000, adults only.

    I sometimes question the medialive adult figures

    DWTS had 389,000 viewers 15+

    518,000 viewers in total meaning 129,000 viewers under 15, but in 2017 the top watch show by under 15 had just 168,000 (TLLTS), and DWTS had on average 46,000 under 15s (this is an average but it would mean a big drop during the run of the series????)

    However, the first episode of season three drew 118,000 fewer viewers than the previous opener.

    An average audience of 518,000, with an overall audience share of 37%, tuned in to Sunday night’s kick-off.

    Last year’s season two debut was watched by 636,000 while week one of 2017’s offering got 640,000 viewers.

    I'd say from just the first episode it is remaining more popular than previous Sunday Night entertainment shows, The Voice was lucky to get a 4th season. But that drop would be expected for Season 3. (At least I expected it).

    All quiet in here this month. I guess ratings have been pretty uneventful, with the normal programmes showing up constantly.

    Ireland's Got Talent back on Saturday, nicely placed in after the Ireland and England match (albeit with probably an hour of analysis) so they should have big figures for Saturday.

    Not so far :( just up to Nov, TAM Ireland don't seem to like issuing share and reach.

    Overall RTÉ is down and Virgin Media is up, when you include TG4 and EirSports1 Irish TV channel have stayed stead making no gains into the audience share of English TV channels.

    Irish TV remains from 43 - 49%, so gains are laughable by either RTÉ or Virgin Media.
