    But that's viewed as essential!

Food has become so debased because of its cheap and constant availability that nobody considers the future where food will become dearer and less available.

The worlds population had doubled from 3.5B to 7.1B since 1971 and continues to grow but arable land is disappearing at 1% a year from expanding urban populations building on it. With climate change driving the the narrow band of latitude where the majority of surplus food is grown further to the north, we're not far from a point where food supply starts to tighten again

Yep exactly. How easily people forget. There was more people dying of starvation in 1900 when the population was 1 billion than there are now, with 7 billion on the planet....and in the meantime farmers have become the bad guys.

There are 1,000,000 people airborne at any one time.

Pure bred 1 star limousin heifer born may’17. 405kg’s - €1,020. Heifer had a bit of shape but never really did. Bought by a butcher. Given recent prices, happy as happy can be.

I'd take the 950 out of the field.

was at the mart today with a few bulls. was dreading it to be honest. thought I'd be bring a few home. while it wasn't great, it was good enough all thing considered. one very nice ch bull of mine even hit the €3 a kg. the rest ranged from 2.20 a kilo to 2.77 a kilo. you had to have nice stuff tho. plenty of **** prices for poor calves

Not so bad, was the €3/kg lad and the higher priced ones off Fiston?
