    Larry's last day on 2fm will be a very special moment in Irish radio history, I know such things are lost on most of the people who frequent this forum now.

    I wonder what the format will be for Larry's big day on January 31? I wonder could they not have waited until May 31?

    So the RTE guide have done an interview with Larry this week in which they tell us to listen to the Larry Gogan show Saturday+Sunday 4pm (even tho it's ****ing obvious he won't do that slot again) and they don't list anything about him on January 31. Really that pigs ear of an organisation disgusts me.

    They should make Larry take the ‘Just A Minute’ quiz just before he signs off :)

    Will Leahy did that with him on the Saturday show years ago, Larry did really badly getting about 4 right. The poor lad has always been very awkward when he has to do something unscripted

    The RTE Guide is the very worst place to look for accurate listings of RTE Radio and Television shows!

    It was alright back in the 80s/90s but sometime in the 00s it went to pot.

    The radio listings were great ...gave details about a programme and even listed the producers name listed

    This day next week is Larry's last day, I presume the reason it's a Thursday is that his contact expires 31 January

    2fm have chris and ciara going around the country so people can a leaving card for larry.

    What exactly is happening on 2FM today?

    Has Larry got a particular time to do his show or is he just chatting on other presenters' shows?

    He is on 2 to 4pm, with special guests and the ‘Just A Minute’ quiz :)

    Tracy Clifford is still presenting the show, I think Larry would be happier playing the records and telling a few stories.
