How many words do you actually have to say on an RTE Gold show?

I really like it though. Excellent station.

So it seems Larry is live Tuesday and Thursday, pre recorded Wednesday and Friday and he's not on Mondays. No just a minute quiz.

I woulder what Larry is being paid for his work on RTE Gold ? The other non staffers only get €20 per hour.

Why are they doing it then?

well how much does a presenter get paid on a local FM station, for a live show?

Doing it for the love of radio

Eh.....unique people ford, unique for sure, doing it for the love of it.

Reminds me of a concern I worked with back in the day, good conditions, reasonable pay, good lines of progression, but populated by the sourest, most intransigent, lazy bunch of churns you would meet in a days walk.

But they all loved the job they would tell a person in interviews:confused:

    FFS.

It's an ego trip too. The desire to get behind a microphone even if it is only on local radio.

I think that’s more accurate that this ‘doing it for the love of radio’ stuff.

You know you’re getting old, when Scooter’s version of ‘The Logical Song’ is considered a golden oldie. :(

    *glowsticks* :o:)

The song is 26 years old. why wouldn't it be played on an oldies show?
