Are updates rolled out on the basis of your current network or the one your phone was originally bought on?

For example bought mine on eBay on a UK network unlocked it and now using VF PAYG

The P20 doesn't charge wirelessy. Are you sure that's not the Mate20?

Feel like there have been across the board increases in this since Christmas - 3 seem to have put up the price since a few days ago

Yes got the P20 Pro last week for €599.99 on prepay. It's gone up €50.

It's down the bottom on mine.. looks awful..

It moves by itself every minute to prevent screen burn-in. It'll be back at the top in a few hours.

I am on Tesco mobile and I only got the October security update in mid December, I am not expecting to see this update on my phone for another month or two. I wold love to see t sooner, but just can't see it happening. I have a bigger issue that Tesco doesn't do messaging to or from Vodafone unless it suits them, thats is my focus to sort out first

Am getting the p20 next month, cant justify the extra €200 on the pro for the camera esentially.
Ive had the same sony for nearly 5years and its been a great workhorse but time to replace.
My main concern with the p20 is the glass and ip rating, im good at taking care of my phone (sony still looks new), is the huawei fragile or am i over thinking it?

My husband got himself a P20, can't charge it at night as it beeps constantly while charging. The phone is on.Using supplied cable. Is there a setting to turn this off somewhere?

Have looked but can't see anything, not going to switch it off every time to charge!

Anyone know where I can turn on the missed call notification ?

For some reason if i miss a call, I don't get either a dot on the phone icon or a message, its only by going into calls that I see the red missed call notice.

Try in the settings menu ,
Call management tab you should be able to toggle notifications on and off there for calls

Just got the P20 pro this week, very happy with it coming from an LG G6

One thing is really bugging me though, how the hell do you shut up the camera sound in whatsapp?

I think it uses the Android camera app, so the setting is in there.

Go to the camera app, then hit the settings button (cog wheel). Next, go to Mute and enable it. This is will disable the camera sound.
