Said it before but I'll say again, peak aidy Lewis is as good as mvg/Ando/Taylor , such a shame he's fallen so far away..still young enough to come back.

Its so long since hes been at that standard id fear he might never get back there
Still wasnt as good as those 3
    The odd time showed flashes
The game has improved so much since in last 3 or 4 years

Think theres gona be alot of flash in the pan kirk shepard style players from this event
Some of these guys were playing challange tour and not exactly setting world on fire
    Should be interesting

This could be a problem in the years ahead too.

Couple of overnight sensations make the last 8/16 but then fade away.

It doesn't look like there will be too many long termers going forward. We might be looking at the last of the players famed for longevity. Taylor, Part, Barney, Painter,Beaton, Anderson,Adams

With the demands of the pro-tour players look to be getting about 5-10 years out of the game at the top but then they get worn down and the actions start to crumble.

Be interesting how the game goes in the next decade. Not sure how Darts could cope with short-term careers.

MS tonight to have any chance needs a very good start,if you put early pressure on MVG with heavy scoring and good finishing he can wilt, that is the only way and also punish him when he has quiet spells.
If Smith is not at the races like Anderson in the SF then he will be 3 nil down before he knows anything.
    Hope it’s a cracker!

If anyone has a link to a stream for tonight I would really appreciate it!

I'm hoping for a close game but I think the occasion might get to Smith and MvG will steamroll him 7-1 or 7-2

    7-3 MVG methinks

Hoping for a good game and a Smith win. You never know how first-time finalists are going to perform, hope Smith can perform at somewhere near his best anyway.

If semi-final Smith turns up this should be great.

If MVG didn't win that set it would have been a massive boost for Smith.

Good first set. Winning a couple of legs will help Smith settle in, but MVG deserved the set.

Good first set , could have buckled Smith to loose it in 4 mins

BBC America are streaming it for free. You need to have a US IP address though...

Big sulky head on him. Clown. Early days yet. Looks like he's about to cry.
