I think that's a good idea. Maybe let's go one further and only watch the non-unionist members of the Irish rugby team.
We can't have people with different political viewpoints around, that would be democratic or something.

I have no problem with people having different viewpoints, although judging by some of the responses on here, there are a minority of people who want to shout down the viewpoint that I've put forward.

By continuing to abstain, sinn Fein are operating in the DUP's own interest on Brexit too.........

On the day after st Stephen's day I needed a part for my car, all local car parts shops were closed and I needed it in a hurry. A shop in Cookstown was open, I went up, got part, back on the road within a few hours.
I cannot tell you their politics, religion or beliefs. I can tell you they were friendly, knowledgeable and most importantly they were OPEN. as for the rest, who cares?

People are shouting down your viewpoint because your viewpoint is silly and nonsensical.

The National Transport Authority spends tens of millions of Euro every year on buses from Wrightbus - a northern company with a history of not employing Catholics, and whose owner is a vocal Brexit and DUP supporter. In addition to this, the company's products are vastly inferior to those available elsewhere.

Now that's the sort of thing we should be targeting

But do some research before taking the word of someone on the internet. The company is in Ballymena. If it was in Crossmaglen, I think the workforce would be all Catholic.

Tbh it's the inferior busses I'd be more concerned about rather than petulant nationalism

If Brexit goes ahead 'hard', then that decision will be made for you OP.

A Hard Brexit = the biggest act of self harm since those lemmings spotted that cliff edge.

No, that plays directly into their hands. The DUP need stuff like this to warrant their existence. It's the Trump playbook, "Look at them over there, hate them, they're the cause of all our problems" They WANT to see a fall off in trade with the south. They WANT to see tariffs, barriers, and restrictions across the border, anything that moves NI further away from RoI. Odious cúnts.

The DUP have done more for the cause of a United Ireland than any body or organisation I can think of.

For that I'll be eternally grateful. I'm lifting a virtual glass of Bushmills in their honour. Sláinte!

This is a complete misunderstanding of the Unionist mindset- they see themselves as British and Britain as a whole voted to leave the EU. While NI voted to remain the Unionists recognise the democratic vote as being the overall British result, not just what happened in their region of Britain. Its hard for us down south to comprehend but thats the way they think and it ain't changing anytime soon.

We spent the first part of our independence getting rid of the Protestant population. Do we want a new state with a million more of them?

It kinda stinks either way. Derry would be in the Republic if we did some research,eh?

What are you on about ?

They were voted in to office by the electorate?

As for Leo .. he topped the poll in his constituency and then was duely elected by the dail to office ... what’s your point ?

They are not the power, they weren't elected to run Northern Ireland. They are using their ability of 13 odd seats to milk there sea may for everything they can.

Personally I decide on my purchases depending on the best quality and value for money. The politics of the management of a business normally does not factor at all. Bear in mind if they are a large employer they will have workers from all communities in the North.

Finally if you truly believe in a united Ireland you need to stop this blickered sort of thought process now.

You'll also find that the majority of business people in NI don't share the DUPs stance on Brexit.

Well if Sinn Fein took their seats in Westminster they wouldn't have this leverage now would they?

Would the moaners on here prefer if the proposal was to stop buying from ALL companies based in the North?

And the purpose of that is? Again if your goal is eventually a united Ireland how would that play out?

Man some people shouldn't be allowed to post on the internet.
