Should we stop buying from companies based in the North who have Unionist leadership?

I have no problem with buying from British companies as well as Irish companies. Britain is a fantastic place with fantastic people. However, particularly with Brexit on the horizon and the actions of the DUP, should Irish people refuse to buy goods and services from companies in the North which have Unionist management and shareholders?

Very easy to find out tbh. I know of plenty of businesses that are dropping suppliers from the North in favour of continental Europe.

Risk management and stability. Nobody knows what will happen regarding Brexit but if you shift your supply chain it's less of a concern.

All a bit Kristallnachty , OP. As much as I'm dismayed by the stance of the DUP, boycotting Unionist products and services en masse is not a constructive way to go. I mean, not all people who class themselves as Unionist agree with the DUP stance in the first place. We need to maintain links and keep channels of communication open. The kind of action you're proposing is the type of thing that can create a tinderbox situation. You really want that for anyone?

I think that's a good idea. Maybe let's go one further and only watch the non-unionist members of the Irish rugby team.
We can't have people with different political viewpoints around, that would be democratic or something.
