It really has been some 10 or so days, incredible times for this great club, now roll on sunday

There must be some belief in the squad now. Building serious momentum.

Henderson is a fine player when used in an attacking role.

He is not and never was a number 6 he just doesn't have it in his game to play that role.

The problem for Henderson is the club always had better players in attacking midfield than him.

Henderson could run all day and was a great water carrier midfielder however we don't need that type of player in either a 433 or 4231 that we play under Klopp.

So yes the armband does play a part I think he maybe a great lad around the training ground and well deserve to be a training ground captain.

However he should not be the on field captain.

    Rubbish

Does Andy Robertson ever get tired? Like ever?

I'm actually delighted for Spurs, for them to come through that group after such a bad start is very close to a miracle.

I didn't look at the odds for tonight but a double with ourselves and Spurs might of been a nice double.

When was the last time we qualified for the last 16 in back to back years? 2008-2009?

Balls. Lovren for the Utd game then.

Thought he was very good the last two games so this is a shame, hopefully nothing bad. Although vvd could play there himself Sunday and he'd still do great, man's a colossus!

Looks like the Matip injury came from the last moment in the game when he got fouled hard.

What to say other than incredible week.

And I wouldn't usually jinx us that badly on the karma front with Mancs coming to anfield on Sun!

    Has to be acknowledged tho.

Even if we lose (I really hope we dont) what can they say? "haha we're only 13 points off you now"

Defeating our invincibles is all they have to play for.

I'm not at all worried about the chances we missed tonight - it's great to see us make so many and still look solid at the back.

They'd say we're two points behind City. Don't fool yourself we're the real enemy here.

Henderson can play CB beside VVD if need be.

I’m sure we will hear something to the tune of “knocking us of our perch again”🙈

this game and the City game is the sum total of their PL campaign and I doubt they'll be troubling the CL beyond the last 32 unless they draw a plum side.

Hopefully all tonights misses were the ones that otherwise would have happened next Sunday.

Looking at the options they need to draw Porto to try and limp through.

If Matip is out for a while we really need Lovren to step up now. No more bull**** injuries.

Who is 5th choice cb? Masterson?

Turns out the Alisson save wasn't a great stop after all, according to some people.
Looks like we have to go back to doubting him now.
I'll have to break the missus' heart now too.

If Liverpool win either the league or champions league, I think I'll leagally change my name to OwaynOTT.

Trent got a knock on the foot according to Klopp. Not sure what it is yet but it’s painful.

    Defensive injuries mounting up.

Don't be saying that, I have work in the morning and was about to go to sleep happy

Gini played CB last year,, I reckon Fabinho could too if needed, or Milner.
