The Brits are at it again. Want to starve us into submission.

AS UK PRIME Minister Theresa May has just five days to try to rally support for her Brexit deal, a Tory MP has suggested using the possibility of food shortages to Ireland in the event of a no-deal Brexit to encourage the EU to drop the backstop.

Isn't "Tory MP" a synonym for "knows absolutely nothing about Ireland"?

How proud her Indian ancestors must be of her success in the British Tory party of Winston Churchill. Many Indians remember auld Winston with fondness no doubt.

Potatoes. Be fine. As long as they don't stop the salt and vinegar. Or the batter burgers.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Lots of Indians did very well out of British rule (similar to how many Irish did well when they were here). Happy to be proven wrong, but I dare say her Indian ancestors weren't sitting at the bottom of the caste system.

On her point in general, she doesn't have a clue.

Lots of Irish did well out of the British too. Would you excuse their offspring for making a tasteless, insulting comment like Pritti's?

Britain is currently losing the plot never mind credibility.

We had one that thought any english person could pop over here and get an Irish passport. And an NI secretary who knew absolutely nothing about the politics of the north.

She should be arrested for racism, conspiracy to use genocide against another nation. Just shows that some English Tory extremists are willing to commit mass murder in order to get their own way. Thankfully a good many English people see them for what they are and condemn their racism.

If we weren't so closely affected by it, Brexit would be wonderful entertainment.

Gotta love watching these Tory cúnts tear each other apart as the irresistible force that is nostalgic imperialism meets the immovable object of hard reality.

Using native Africans to run the place meant that a section of population would have to be given privileges, access to education and so on, with a risk that -despite their well off status - they might make common cause with their country men and rise against british rule. Bringing in subjects from other colonies to act as a governing class lessened the risk. Divide and conquer writ bold and clear.

Yeah a British guy I work with is half Indian - says that side of his family are well into all the lickspittling of the royals and waxing lyrical about the greatness of the empire etc.

You see Irish people here going on with that toadying sh1t too.
