Just did a search on this guy and he has a Picture This(dear god don't get me started) tattoo on his torso.
He's a 35 year old man who is desperately attempting to look like a 25 year old man.
It's infuriating that our licence fees pay for this hipster man childs affluent lifestyle. No getting woken up at six every Saturday by shouting kids for that too cool for school virtue signalling poser. Maybe if I didn't have to work a normal job and have a family I could get offended by songs for money too.

It will go away now this year now that RTE have not caved.

Next year it will kick off. It will start off as being referred to as "controversial" and a couple more voices will wade in. Then the year after it will be referred to as a "storm", gaining more of the usual voices. The year after that it will be gone.

He's trying make it in Australia as well-he was involved in Love Island, the series they aired in Australia. He was narrating.

I don't have an issue with someone being childless (I'm childless myself-realised early on that I was not parenting material). But he gets so 'hot and bothered' over the most inane s**t, as does his sister Roe. He's the kind of idiot that cheers on the #metoo movement, but probably has a ton of skeletons in his closet.
They generally all do-all those 'feminists'.

That's what they said about 'Baby it's Cold Outside'...

But it's not Christmas without Fairytale of New york-or at least it doesn't feel like it. (And didn't they play that song on TG4 when Eoghan was there?). And nobody has equalled the original, they go about 'changing' the 'scumbag, you maggot, you cheap lousy f*ggot' line, and they don't embrace the pathos or 'lived it' quality that Shane and Kirstie bring to the song. Truth is beautiful, but it can also be painful-and the 'f*ggot' line is part of that painful truth.

If they tried to get Fairy tale banned...oh s**t would things kick off. Similar happened in New York when one bishop tried to get 'Oh Danny Boy' banned. Then September 11th happened... Danny Boy was the most prevalent song sung in the aftermath of that incident.

Does anyone know what his ratings are like? RTE must owe him a favour.

Every day on the drive home it's a choice of SJWs. Either Eoghan giving out about trump or Matt on today fm giving out about trump. Hes not our president we don't need hourly updates on him everyday.

    Matt is another champagne socialist.

He knows which side his bread is buttered in and plays it like a fiddle.

Never knew he had a sister - just googled her and the first thing that came up was "columnist studying for an MA in sexuality studies" and that was enough.
Another one to live off the taxpayers teat no doubt.

In defense of Roe, I think her sex advice column is really excellent. She is well able to write and systematically address people's concerns with carefully thought out, insightful advice.

She posts some serious anti man shyte on twitter though. I happen upon it occasionally. And I'm like... Really? FFS! You're so much better than this.

He’s been on my ignore list for years now and he seems to be very unpopular in general.

Most ppl either hate him or don’t know who he is.

He offends my sensibilities with his insufferable, condescending and morally superior droning. Is there any way to start a campaign to remove him from the national broadcaster?

Careful now you may be accused of being homophobic for criticising the thoughts of someone from the gay community..

and he wonders why he got an unprovocative thump in the head..he's an arsehole that's why.

And before you all say he has a right to be and a right not to be assaulted, I'm just saying, knuckle draggers obviously don't see it that way so he shouldnt be surprised if he's having a pint and some dope says, "heor dats the faggit dat tried to ban our favourite chrimbo tune"

She was on tv3 one day, debating a model-or trying to-and failed completely.

When the model said something like 'sure what's wrong with looking at beautiful people', Roe flipped her lid.
It was hilarious-she had no answer but thought the question alone was audacious.

Good on RTE telling their employees where to go if they don't like a song...

...they know they wouldn't get hired anywhere else, frankly.

And does Eoghann not realise the Voice of Ireland ended about 5 years ago? Nobody gives a s**t who he is now. They didn't give a s**t who he was then.
And nobody gives a toss about his sister either.

What the hell is sexuality studies anyway? Is that her being paid to go around having sex with everything?

Eoghann's not gay. Or do you mean Stephen Byrne?

The fact that this guy has a job in some sort of outlet of artistic 'culture' like a radio station and basically wants stories, fictional stories with fictional characters, which that song is, the fact he wants to ban works of art like that is nothing short of bat$hit crazy. And it is. I mean where are you going to stop in this sort of crazy logic? Are we gong to ban Johnny Cash songs because he sang about a character 'shooting a man in Reno, just to watch him die'? Elton John singing "Saturday night is alright for fighting", can't be having that sort of message, better ban that too. I mean where do you draw the line? OP is right, ban this gadge, whoever he is

It’s quite funny actually how these jumped up little Gerry Ryan wannabes have no idea how irrelevant and unknown they are to the general public.

“2fm DJ” is barely z list at this stage.

No one gives a fcuk what you think Owen!

That there would be the one who told lies on Twitter about Peter Casey.

After Tubridy raided the RTÉ canteen for guests for the late late.

To be fair it's not Tubs fault they can't get good guests.

First they came for the socialists...

If we could make the word "Eoghan" offensive by using it as a slur on some minority group then we could in effect have "Eoghan" banned from the airwaves.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

    Hold on a minute.

Is roe mc dermot his sister?

As in roe ( trans and POC) mc dermot.

I never heard of him but he comes across as a massive wanker, if him and his boyfriend don't like the song then don't play it or turn the radio off or down if it comes on in their home/car etc

Just like the #metoo crowd, hopefully these snowflakes will start to lose media attention and be seen for the pathetic attention seekers they really are.

Don't think he's gay but the wanker part is correct

Saw him on those shows where you guess which "celebrities" own a house, he appeared to have a woman
