Well I nominate Cyberghost for some sort of Motors forum award for service to motorists. That fellow will think twice before doing it again....

How are people even watching the video on that broken piece of crap streaming site? I get 3 seconds of playback for every 30 seconds of buffering, why not just put it on Youtube or Dailymotion or somewhere?

The celtic tiger must be in full swing again if people are trying to stop a lad of saving a few quid and making sure the big fat-bellied car park owner gets every last penny he can get.

I dislike pay car park owners. They do fcukkity all for their money after they manage to convince the bank and the council to let them build the damned thing. After that it becomes a money printing machine and its owner can live a life of hedonism in Barbados/Feurteventura on the back of the ordinary working punter

Someone has to pay for the freeloader to get out of the car park. If nobody paid, noone would get out of the car park.....
The OP has every right to feel agrieved that the freeloader is leeching off them on a consistent basis.

    U Wot M8?!

Op is a fecking hero we don't deserve. So many people taking a fecking piss and someone finally just went: AH feck off m8, not this time.

Op, pays for parking and does it by the books. Its a service and he agrees to it and pays for it. Like majority of us. And for the love of ****, its a 4eu we talking about and these people still do this ****?! Sometimes when I see this ****, I think that Planet of the Apes should come sooner. We are done as speeches.

Before this thread, I never knew this was a thing. And thank you op, for showing this. If I ever in one of these carparks I will keep an eye for cheap fecks like that.

I'd be slow enough to shed a tear for any lad who built a multi storey within sniffing range of Dublin in recent decades. Great business to be in. Nobody ever complains their parking space is dirty, cold, damp or any of the nonsense ordinary landlords have to put up with. Id definitely have to be getting some fairly good kickbacks from the owner before I'd start blocking people to ensure he gets the millions he deserves.

The lad said "But you're from Poland!"

    So what?

I'd happily trade that cheapskate for another Polish fella if I thought we could! OP is a national treasure tbh.

    This is completely irrelevant.

Anyone remember the old car park in Beaumont Hospital? It used to be a real problem there (about 20-25 years ago). A £1 coin was required to exit regardless of how long you stayed yet there would be several cars circulating around waiting for someone else to pay up and they'd drive out in a line after. The barrier was ridiculously slow to drop.

Streamable has never failed to load for me, and I use it a lot. Video works fine.

    Then you mention Dailymotion :pac:

I found it hard to believe to be honest, it would be so blatant. Has anyone ever experienced anything like that?

I do the guts of 50k motorway a year, it's widespread more so on the M8 for some reason

A protruding bike carrier on the back of the car would prevent him closing the sensor gap in future.

    It streams fine

The only problem is that guy clearly had no shame, morals or scruples.

I've no doubt that not only will be do it again, he most likely did it straight after OP blocked him with some other poor sod paying the price.

I park my car at a public paid car park when I go to work.

I noticed that there are few people who work around in the area who park there, and then at around 6-ish when people are leaving work they wait and circle around in their cars looking for someone to exit the car park and then they tailgate them out avoiding the parking fee. And they do it every single day.

What's funny is that these cheapskates are driving really nice, new cars, are nicely dressed, obviously they can afford a parking ticket... but they don't mind or care about tailgating out anyone just so they avoid paying the fee.

I got tailgated out many times and finally had enough. So I said I would not let anyone tail gate me out anymore, especially because I know they work in that area, this is not just some stray car that entered the parking by accident. They know exactly what they are doing.

Today as I was going to my car from work, I noticed this guy sitting in his car and by the time I paid for my ticket and I got into my car he was circling around and got into the position to chase me out. What he did not expect is that I would not let him out.

What's amazing is the level of entitlement. I told him I was not letting him out and he is still trying to follow me out. It's astounding.

Sorry for the profanity in the video, but I simply have had it with these people.

    I ****ing love you.

Happens very regularly. I've posted videos before of people trying it.

And on principal alone you refuse to use pay car parks and when you do use them, you refuse to pay. Well done that man. Stand up for your culture :D

    Are you for real ???

    This is against GDPR

The image of a person recorded by a dashcam constitutes personal data within the meaning of Article 2(a) of Directive 95/46/EC(1) and of Article 4(1) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)(2) inasmuch as it allows for the identification of individuals and in the same way as image and sound data recorded by means of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and other video surveillance systems are considered personal data..

The legislation of the European Union on data protection applies to the processing of personal image data recorded by dashcams. While the EU data protection rules do not specifically refer to dashcams, they are technology neutral. The use of dashcams must comply with the principles and rules of the GDPR, including that the processing of personal data by dashcams is lawful.

In Germany there is no legislation specifically banning the use of dashcams. The national data protection supervisory authorities and courts are in charge of ensuring that the use of dashcams complies with the applicable data protection legislation. Current case law prohibits the publication of the material on the Internet. There already is case law in Germany and Austria on sanctioning the recording by private persons.

In order to encourage consistent application of the GDPR, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) — the new EU body established by the GDPR, could issue guidelines, recommendations and best practices on the application of the GDPR in the respective area. In that context, the national data protection authorities, working together within the Board, would be able to give further guidance on this issue.

GDPR only applies to entities engaged in economic activity. So long as the videos aren't being monetised, the uploader should not be in breach of the regulations. Youtube or RTÉ might have a problem, but not the user.

    Way to selectively answer.

Why is it OK to steal form some businesses and not others?

I never said it was OK. I said I didn't care. It's not my car park, I don't work my knickers up into a scrotum strangling indignant bunch over these things.

Does the OP go banging on his neighbours window telling them to turn Mobdro off and give poor Rupert Murdoch his few bob? Does he perform citizens arrests on luas fare dodgers? Sneaky pick and mix munchers? Where do you draw the line?

If it's wrong to rob ParkCorp, it's equally wrong to rob Sky, Transdev or Tesco.

Personally - I couldn't give a rats arse about any off them, and furthermore I think anyone who does gets themselves all worked up and stressed about such things is an absolute cockwomble.

The difference with your examples is that the tailgater wants to benefit directly from what the OP paid personally and individually.
